  I operated one of those machines during my apprenticeship 55 years ago. Spent maybe 2000 hrs on them.The negatives of the unit are : 1.Slow. 2. The template - made of steel to utilise the magnetic attraction of the drive spigot takes some time to prepare. 3 Does not cut internal corners well- limited by the diameter of the magnetic drive spindle. Avoid right angle internal cnrs for this reason.Not the right time to realise this if cutting, say $1000 piece of plate. 4. You must be extra careful where you stop and start as completing the cut next to and a thin waste section causes the whole shape being cut to pivot and can result in an in accurate final shape. 5. Best utilised in a small shop where a lot of " one offs" are done. The surface finish of the cuts can be superb if the preheats and correct cutting speed requirements are observed. Just knock the bottom slag off the bottom edge with a chipping hammer.
