I braided 3 pieces of crochet yarn and used it as pull strings for my doll, it lasts way longer than normal thread. It doesn’t wear out, you just have to tie it extremely tightly so it doesn’t come off when you pull on it.
Great tip thanks!
💯👏👍😍
I love your concept! 😅 and she's so cute with the aluminium foil hat😂

I'm excited to see what next year brings. I really enjoyed the expo this year, it was my first time and everyone was so friendly.
I like the idea of welcoming all doll Artists!
The original Blythe doll was a toy, not an art doll. An art doll that is copied illegally is like stealing from the artist as happens with art bjd dolls. The Blythe doll, since it is a toy would have a patent or trademark. These trademarks protect the inventor, but are not forever. If the trademark is not renewed after 10 years, you no longer own it. A patent is granted for 20 years and after that it becomes part of the public domain. I see no problem in buying a “fake” Blythe doll as long as you know it is not an authentic Blythe doll. Customizing a fake is still art and has its own value above a plain “fake”. Correct me if I am wrong . I don’t own any of these dolls, but now that I have seen them….I want one!
This was so helpful cus we have the same doll lol!
Very well explained. I like the wire idea also.
Could you just bend the ends of the needle into a small loop, enough for it not come through the holes?

What about using pliers to bend the ends up so it cannot slide out?
That was exactly what i was thinking. Use a piece of wire, leave a bit of length either side, add some glue & bend it up into the neck.
