Great cover. Would love to hear a re-mix with more emphasis on vocals and less on instruments.
Thank you so much! We might actually have a vocals-only mix lying around somewhere...
It was with trepidation I started out on the journey you guys created in this vid but it just kept getting better and better. Vision and music superb. Great job.
Thank you for joining us! :)
Hey, this is cool!

What a beautiful cover, beautiful instrumentation, beautiful voice.
Thank you so much!
That is pretty cool.
Many thanks! It was fairly spontaneous! ;)
Good!
Thank you! :)
strong!
Thanks!! :)
Absolutely, breathtakingly beautiful, utterly beyond brilliant! The most healing, revitalizing, restorative experience I’ve ever heard and seen. The words, the voices, the images, the messages perfectly combine to flood the heart and soul with incredible love and light. Overwhelming gratitude for creating and sharing this🙏
Thanks so much! :) We can't take any credit for the words or melody, but we had a lot of fun creating our version, musically and visually. Please do check out the original at thelostwords.org
LOve it. Start in Leith with this tune, walk 500 hundred miles. Meet up with CityRocks in Eastern Europe? No voting for politicians, no violence, no smashing of windows from shops. Could we, the people make to it our friends in Siberia? It's about 5700 miles, even get the Village people on our way through France :)
Thanks for the astronomical earworm! Brill!!
Thank you, Anonymous KZread account!
I maintain an air of dignified mystery here, too
Freddie is smiling <3
Love it!❤
I love this concept!
Great job!
I watched it stoned. Its amazing ❤
Please stop bleeping out the key words. it destroys the song when you do it.
This is a wonderfull cover and video to a wonderful & real magic Paul Simon song. Thank you so much!😊
Thank you for the kind words! :)
And the song is so culturally prophetic. You can now buy ties that have a hidden camera in it!
Too wispy
Noted! We will ramp up the dramatic ending a couple of notches next time and get rid of that excess wisp. Seriously though, comments always appreciated, and thank you for listening. :)
круто...
I didn't know how this would play out, because acting out the story of a song can come across cheesy, but both the singing and acting is done very well. It does this iconic song well.
We have occasionally been guilty of cheesiness, but always try to hit the vibe of the song as best we can if we're acting a lyric out. Glad you like it, and thanks for the kind words! :)
I remember one of my teachers playing this song to the class in the early 70s during a lesson on American History. I'm from the UK, but the point my teacher was trying to make was how this song reflected Paul Simon's sense that his country was going in the wrong direction at that time. I was fortunate enough to see Paul on his last UK tour, and this was one of the handful of S&G songs he played. I think this is a classic, which is probably an over used phrase, but you guys nailed it. Thank you.
Thanks so much! Yes, it definitely has that vibe about it. One of us is in the UK and the other in the US, so we came at it from both sides of the pond - outsider's and insider's perspectives.
Great move from the team teacher
Oh gosh your harmonies from the start 💜 love the vintage vibe to the cinematography, and the whole story it tells
Thank you again! The RSVP handover was the hardest bit to accomplish in the video, given the 3000 miles between our hands at the time! ;)
This strikes the right balance between whimsical and ominous
This was beautiful - both the singing and the video!!! Not gonna lie, though, after the first stanza i thought ye might break into a rock version 😅
Thank you! We have been known to ramp things up a bit. ;)
Love the inset!
OH MY STARS i love every single thing about this. The lyrics. The music. The video!!!
Well gosh! :) So glad you like it! Thank you.
I can just picture what the local grocers were thinking when you were filming there
Fortunately they didn't kick us out! ;)
