Our aim was to stick as close to the coast as we could. In a number of places we were walking on board walks but they ran out and were in a poor state. Did you mean that we should have walked the Brierley 'coastal' route?

I rested up there for a few nights last year and I could not stay away from the cathedral square. Watching pilgrims arrive / finish is just so cool!

PS I cried too when you guys walked thru the arch.. It is so hard to describe but it’s a complicated sensation / combination of joy, gratitude, relief and also a bit of sadness that the journey is finished. I have the luxury of walking to yoga every morning and every single morning at 545 am, I pretend that I am on the Camino. And, of course, I am. I listen to the birds and the slow awakening of my little neighborhood and the light, the sounds, I could close my eyes and just as easily be in Granon or Punete la Reina or Rabinal…. Well done pilgrims ! Thank you so much for taking me with you.. It was lovely.

Congrats to you guys ! I have so enjoyed following your journey of kindness and gratitude and your love of the Camino. Your little videos have been my coffee companions for the last 30 days or so and i have just soaked up the trail with you. I’ve only walked into Santiago 1x as my first Camino from St Jean ended in Burgos, but it is such a thrill. I can’t wait to be on the trail again next spring. With our group last year, we all hated to say goodbye to each other, so we decided we would always leave room for the next time we met up by saying “I will see you down the trail..”. I will see you guys down the trail! Peace and love and, of course, Buen Camino from Arizona, USA❤
