    How did it work fishing on the Gulf ?

    It cools well. The only drawbacks were that the water and ice add weight (which I knew they would) and carrying extra ice packs. I mainly use artificals and cover a lot of beach when I surf fish. I got about an hour to 1 1/2 hours out of a pack. If you would be fishing out of a boat or fishing tight lines with a cooler nearby, you would be okay for extra ice packs. Hope this helps.

    I make these myself. Use a paper clip with a small hook on the end and pull old spinnerbait strands through a worm, swimbait that lost its tail, or old craw that lost its legs. they work!

    Twice I've caught 2 fish on the same lure using the hooks that it comes with. I just found this bait earlier this year. Also caught a 4 1/4 pound smallmouth and a 5 1/2 pound smallmouth on this lure.

    I really love this bait. So far this summer, the bluegill pattern has been on fire for those hot water and even hotter air temps. Thanks for checking out the video!

    How can I get the spool out it’s giving me a hard time

  • @BlueLineFishing
    @BlueLineFishing20 күн бұрын

    Lay the reel on its side with the brake dial facing up. Push the small rectangular shaped button on the bottom of the side plate up as you push up on the side plate. It is a little hard to get off by design, but when you push the button and side plate up simultaneously, it will pop off, and you'll be able to access the spool. Hope this helps.

    I got a vest that has a quart bottle you were on your hip that you will with ice and some water. Otherwise works just like that one does. 109 heat index with high humidity You work in the full sun in comfort for an hour then you need to refill the ice container. The small pump and tubing is sensitive to small particles/derby that you might get on yours hands and contaminate the circulating water. Wash/rinse your hands before opening that zipper.

    This is no more than rigging various soft plastics on a modified swim bait book. Have been doing this for decades.

  • @uniquehomecustoms6795
    @uniquehomecustoms6795Ай бұрын

    You rigged it wrong, it will bust that head on the plastic just throwing it multiple times without a fish even biting it, unless its a zman bait. That shits hard to bust. Go top down about 1/4" off the head and pull it through to a Texas rig. I wish the hook had a little more gap. I have personally lost a few fish with thos rig. Might just be me or might be the rig, who knows, but my hook up radio has been pretty good over the years with a ewg hook, not to dis the ozark, I really like the idea and how it sinks, just wish it was a little bigger gap.

  • @BlueLineFishing

    You don't need to bleed sea trout. They are a nice white flesh and not oily. I would recommend cutting out the ribs on both sides from the fillets. Hope that helps!
