  good eye - in this case it was just rare & random luck of me opening so many boxes; it's not completely unheard of-what others too often call "cuba being cuba" or inconsistent quality control-but this box was authentic. thanks for noticing

  You can also cure and preserve other fine Herbs in this little beauty as well, A wizard who ages for 4-6months his fine Herbs on one side and Tahitian vanilla beans on the opposite side using the dividers to separate them shall be rewarded indescribably.

  Hi Chris, these Lanceros appear to be a good alternative for everyday smoking and if they are rolled by Hamlet they should be solid. It's hard to find a good deal on cubans and even the New World cigars have increased in price. Good report. Mike

  Yes, the price hikes have been absolutely crazy, so many boxes now have prohibitive pricing & it's sadly going to continue if i had to guess. I do miss the days of having worry free access to virtually any vitola even if it was a a bit of a splurge. Makes me laugh to think we complained then in light of today's prices.

В зоне отдыха, а там достаточно влажная и теплая среда, выкуривая сигару получил совсем другой вкус (очень мягкий и более приятный) и очень большую дымность, по отношению к курению на улице или в помещении.И мне это очень понравилось. Друзья мои тоже это оценили. Рекомендую попробовать. Конечно это сугубо мои ощущения.

  @AngelOfToxicity I avoided these for years because of the small format. The box here that I reviewed blew my mind in terms of flavor & complexity that let me quickly let go of the fact it was smaller in size. They are delicious as any good large format vitola. So yes, they are worth it. My only hesitation is if you may not get a great box or get a box that needs again etc. But, i've also read on FOH forum from others that smoked these and found them surprisingly good. I saw a website recently asking over $300 for these LOL. And some still have them around $200. i hope this helps you in your decision! Greetings to Portugal from usa!

  good eye! BUT those singles w/ damage came from a Montefortuna clearance sale of slightly damaged cigars. In other words, they came that way -it's not from the humidor or my storage. I got those cigars for pennies and really & wish i had gotten even more.   yeah hard to find aged inventory and fetches a premium. I often buy them ahead and age for a couple of years before opening. I was also lucky to have gotten alot of boxes before price hikes made this more difficult. Also, tbh some vendors know me and send me aged boxes when they can.

  yes, i agree. i find many cigars can actually have a subtle expresso type note but then on occasion you find a very rich, intense, more pure flavor of expresso which can be real nice too.

  this is a very good question, i started work on a related identifying counterfeits video but yet to finish. It's several factors, there are marks of distinctions that expose poor fakes including redundant hidden micro numbers, black light images, placement in box by gradient wrapper color , online verification, box and cigar band identifiers, etc etc but these can be faked very simply. So at the end of the day, provenance and experience with taste & aroma play most important role. Market is ripe for fakes;The demand much greater vs supply & the incredible profit margins. Hope this helps. There is a naive sentiment that only cohibas are mostly faked but pretty much all marcas and vitolas are often faked sadly. Again, non cuban tobacco and packaging materials are cheap. And if good Rolexes can be faked cigars are child's play. Go to alibaba and you'll see they sell all printed bands & labels w/holograms and all for pennies. Hope this answers! "Newbie" questions are always welcomed. Thanks for watching. 👌😚💨

  This is a very elegant smoke, floral cedar with that cuban leathery finish & a bit creamy too! Mouthfeels are a medium long palette & very pleasant. The burn time was 1 hour more or less, with a very consistent burn line & held almost an inch of ash very impressive (hoping its always this consistent) thanks lovely vids !!

  Those look tasty! Short filler, tripa corta, cigars are wrongfully overlooked. I've found both the Rafael Gonzalez Panatelas and the Quintero Panatelas,which are both made with short fillers, to be excellent smokes.

  Agreed Quintero Brevas was equally impressive & such a flavourful smoke too, as someone who is new to cigars I was lucky to not have judged based on them being short fillers & in turn have stumbled in to modest gems. Also loved the Flor de Gonzales box pressed one. Love the smoke time too all 3 of these clocked pretty much 45 mins -1 hr very good for short filler cubans!!
