Hi Katie! A little trivia: chronologically, James was most likely the first book of the NT to be written (around AD 45-49). The NT in a traditional Bible are ordered by category (Gospels, Acts, Epistles, Revelation). Thanks for sharing your devotional!

Assuming the best in others: Corinthians 13:7 in the Bible says, "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things". This verse can be interpreted to mean that love chooses to believe the best about others, rather than the worst, whenever possible. It also means that love gives people the benefit of the doubt and doesn't jump to conclusions

Dating apps stink. Most of the men just want sex. About half of the girls do too but think that is leading to a future…. If He is worthy He WILL wait😊

Friends I know who are people pleasers have had the characteristic of getting attached really quickly in relationships, so even short relationships are intense for them and maybe they were a little more committed to that relationship than the other person. It's imbalanced, so unlikely to work out.

Hi Katie, nobody can smell themselves, their perfume or any natural scents either. It's nature's protection so we aren't overwhelmed with it. So you will smell your perfume only for several minutes but everyone else can smell your perfume hours later. If they are in your presence for awhile they will stop being able to smell it. So, yes it lasts. I enjoy your videos.

Amen, our promise is in heaven and eternal life in the presence of the Lord God. What you said is more biblical than the book you read from, it sounds selfish and worldliness focused. Unfortunately many Christians don't know what it is to follow LORD JESUS and pick up our cross and deny ourselves and set aside the desires of the flesh. We waste so much time and peace on things that we will regret in heaven. I learn new levels of what his love means daily, and it doesn't always feel good but my heart rejoyces knowing he is with me and that light wants to shine on others for his namesake and the gospel ❤ love you!

I love when you talk about your Native products! I used a deodorant (I think it was the lavender and rose one) until it ran out. A few months ago my local Walgreens got the Native bath/shower body wash and I got two of them (it was buy one get one 25% off so I had to take advantage of that). I love them because of you now

That’s not the part that is the science. It becomes science regarding the leavoning; regarding the fat ratio; the cooking process and temp. That said there is a lot of wiggle room that you should experiment around to make things to your liking. Different flours make different textures; as do different fats (I often use half shortening and half butter. It’s seriously magic). It’s always best to follow exact directions and ingredients if u can as a start and branch out from there. In short; you probably did get lucky with your ingredient changes😂

Baking is a science, it is Chemistry. Doesn't mean you still can have great results if you don't follow the recipe closely. Just because the exact numbers don't matter, doesn't mean it is not a science. :D It is also about how correct you want it to have. If you watch shows like the Great British Bake Off or something you will see it is possible to be really intense about baking.
