  My Mother went home to God last year in February. This is what the choir sings in our Assyrian Church. I can't think of any song that is sung during a funeral that allows you to fully open your heart and mourn your loved one more than this call to Christ to welcome them. My heart is wounded Lord. It is hard. Please forgive me and I pray that You accept my sacrifice for her to be worthy of You.
