    The title of the video says “everything that broke” and the thumbnail for the video says “throw it away” but the entire video you just talk about how great the car is…???😵‍💫🤪

    Love the video I'm in the market for an either 2015 16 or 2017. I think I read the 2015 had engine issues. Is that true. Whi h of those years do u recommend? Any issues with the 2016?

    All manuals came with a LT4 in 1996 all automatics came with a LT1 the sweet thing is the 1996 LT4's were underrated by as much as 40 bhp because chevy didn't want it to make the LS1 that was arriving in 1997 look bad

    I also prefer the 17 front end. I’m hoping the tune, H pipe and CAI got the power up to 460. Plus I like paddle shifting the 6A and it seems like paddle shifting the 10A would be too many gears?

    Ehhh. I’d still go for reliability than fancy tech that breaks. I kept my last Acura for 21 years, I don’t see a problem doing it it my Highlander this time. I’d rather not waste my time at the dealer fixing an unreliable car than wasting money. I can’t earn time, you can always earn money. I’d be wasting more money anyway trading every 5 years.

    The biggest difference is that the PP1 and PP2's come with 373 Gears which will rip the 355's that the Base comes with.. If you are getting a manual it automatically comes PP1 because the manual Benefits Greatly from the 373's over the 355's.. If you have the 10 speed then you will want the 355's more than likely.. The 373 manual will rip a 355 manual in a quarter mile also the PP1 and PP2's come with beefier sway bars struts, strut brace, and staggered wheels.. I could care less about the tech, I'm old.. LOL. Anyway great video...

  • @marcasswellbmd6922
    @marcasswellbmd69226 ай бұрын

    It's Def worth the money for the PP1. What you are showing is the PP2 I believe. You get a bigger Rad/Better cooling, Staggered wheel's/Bigger wheel's and tire's, But most importantly (The 373's Rear/gearing which are the star of the show), better brakes and handling too. Beefier sway bar along with a Strut Brace, And it matter's...

    While you keep promoting Hyundai/Kia products, you fail to mention how unreliable those cars are and how reliable Toyota is. I say this after owning two junk Hyundai cars.

  • @DayneLeBlanc
    @DayneLeBlanc6 ай бұрын

    Lexus, Genesis, and Kia. That’s your top 3 most reliable brands of 2023. Toyota is 7th and Hyundai is 8th. Your statement was very true even 10 years ago. Today the gap is too narrow to justify the lack of amenities for the cost premium. That being said, Toyota is slowly catching up the the pack. But in today’s world. Hyundai would get my money first.

  • @chimpun1979
    @chimpun197914 күн бұрын

    @@DayneLeBlanc Granted Hyundai cars have come a long way only in aesthetics but in terms on engine reliability Toyota is way ahead of Hyundai at least in the US. Toyota D4-S system keeps the intake valves cleans avoiding any issues with the engine. This is a major problem with most DI engines that don't have port injection... go to the Hyundai forums and ask, you can also ask the BMW , VW and Audi guys. These V6 engines as well as the I4 from Hyundai have problems with oil consumption starting at very low mileage. Mechanics attribute this to premature weakening of low-tension piston rings, utilized by OEMs to comply with stringent EPA fuel consumption regulations. These rings reduce cylinder friction thus enhancing fuel efficiency. Many manufacturers are facing similar issues, but complaints about Toyota engines are fewer than the rest. I had long conversations with mechanics about this specific topic. Personally, I'd prefer the issues mentioned in the video over the need to replace piston rings or need to clean the intake valves from sludge ( I refuse to call this carbon deposits). Ultimately, it's a matter of personal choice. If aesthetics is the consumer priority, that's ok. However, for me, engine reliability takes precedence over anything else the car has to offer.

    Also agree about the seats, that and the truly scarely lack of visibility make me second though a car that I would otherwise have jumped on as far as buying...Im small framed ,Much smaller than you, yet its the side bolsters that feel not wide enough, so its like my lats are in a vise..anyone thats really built, Man, I got no clue how u could fit comfortably in that narrow gap! its like they were made for little asian people...maybe they were! the other thing that kills me about the seats is they begin to hurt the lower back and despite all the adjustments possible, nothing allieviates the discomfort....On a different note, I remember the torture of owning a car with back destroying seats...it was an 82 supra with the performance package and those damn recaro lookalikes...initially they looked and Felt so cool but that beginning of discomfort, like you said, it progressed into being so bad I couldnt keep the car..my back was all but destroyed in the lower discs... got an 87 rx7 turbo wich had the Best seats ive Ever had in a car...after 6 months, my back was normal again. miss that car!
