For Linus on LTT, I recommend trying Proton 9 for Linux gaming. I've managed to get Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Elite: Dangerous, Marvel's Spider-man Remastered, Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, and Dead Space Remake working at least just as well on Linux thanks to Proton, with RTX on for those with it. Red Dead Redemption 2 can be installed native and works beautifully on Linux too, so long as you use Vulkan rendering mode. Linux gaming has come a long way these past few years! ChromeOS also isn't a good idea, since it's run by Google. I wouldn't trust Google or Microsoft end of! Try a proper Linux OS.

Piracy won’t end until they stop taking away things we buy digitally and make older content available on our newer devices. One of the reasons I’ve considered piracy is I literally cant get ahold of my favorite ps1 and ps2 games anymore. Let alone older Nintendo games. If backwards compatibility was kept better I would still have all those games 🙄

I use Linux and get paid to support Linux systems in fortune 500 company. Linux is ready for prime time. The only thing keeping me on windows is my D.A.W software. If this type of software worked on Linux I wouldn't have windows installed as a host OS and would run only as a VM for work purposes. Even as a VM I really wouldn't use windows.

I work as a Sys Admin. for an NPO and our staff work with other people's PII every minute of the workday. I am dreading the main release channel for W11 updates including Recall on by default... I have foolish hope that Microsoft will allow business users to turn this off in Azure, but I am certainly not holding my breath.

Time to dump hdmi and stick with dp. Personally the part I like most about DP is the lock. HDMI falls out too easily.The DP lock ROCKS.

the people who pirate weren't going to pay for any thing and in most cases cant buy things. with the huge rising cost to just live. it makes it harder and harder to afford basic items. so being able to play all the games or watch all new movies would cost more then rent every month.
