South Korea is not foreigner friendly, most nightclubs and other business cater only locals they won't let you in, even some restaurants. So, no. Housing is know for being very expensive and has a very high suicide rate, you won't be able to talk anybody on the street. Only foreigner friendly place is Itaewon, one street on a 20 million city.

I lived in Denmark after my tour in Vietnam. (67-70). The women are very sweet, caring and loving.
Only the first 12 minutes of a 2 hour video is actually about Cambodia. Affordable? Yes...because it's way to freaking too hot to leave your AC apartment during daylight hours. And foreigners over 50 are prohibited by law from marrying Cambodians...enforced. Plenty of hookers and moto-drivers selling drugs though. More trash in the streets and river than even in China or the Philippines. I live here because it's cheap..." rich culture and stunning landscapes" in the hottest & most humid flood-plain on earth. Great people...the best, hardly a "paradise."

i lived in the Philippines for years. It is not cheap nor pleasant. The Philippines is essentially a countrywide slum that should be bulldozed. Nothing works well in the Philippines, not the electricity, the internet, the plumbing or transportation It has many old cites and only 1 or 2 new ones. Anything to do with the government is a horror show. While i trust their doctors, i do not trust their hospitals. ALL the people that i know who went to the hospitals in the Phillipines, never left, they ALL died there. Stay away from the Philippines.
