Hi I'm Krysta! I make videos about my life and long distance thru hiking. I have completed 3 long distance hikes: The Great Divide Trail, the Croatian Long Distance Trail & the Pacific Crest Trail. I love to create authentically, so you will also sometimes hear me talk about mental health and other topics close to my heart. It is so fun for me to take you on my outdoor adventures and I'm so glad you're joining me!

Such beautiful footage... and very well produced! Quick question: I notice that your ground pad is very thin. Do you have additional padding to get a good nights rest?
What beautiful sights! Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. I enjoy them SO much.
Loved watching your PCT trail videos! Funny thing though….took me half way thru this video to realize you’re in km now instead of miles! I’m constantly going back and forth…..grew up in the states, and have lived in Ontario for 42 years now. But I still go back to miles. Love watching you guys!
Hello Krysta , do you recommend the Durston tent ? And which one ❤ thank you
Are there any bears on this trail? (I’m from California 😅)
Only bummer in your Northern cal portion of your hike was that we didn't see much in the way of views of Mount Shasta or mount Lassen, even though you had some clear days and with the rains that you had at times there must have been some fresh snow on both of those.
Thanks for sharing your awesome adventure.
I love watching your series, but hate when they end. Do you feel regret at the end of a trail or just exhilaration because you succeeded?
Omg I’m in Victoria today!!
Gorgeous trail--of course it is--it's BC! Are the huts on a reservation system? Looking forward to the next adventure!
May I ask, what is the sleeping arrangements when you are with other hikers you don't know in the hut?
Beautiful hike! Looks like you have your hiking spirit back! Can’t wait for the next adventure.
Beautiful natural sights and sounds on this trail. What an experience for you to share!!
The SCT is just beautiful😍 Krysta, you looked so relaxed. I guess after hiking 2600+ miles, new challenges feel managable🤷♀️ Great to see you and Brian hiking together again❤ ‘
That was amazing! Thanks for sharing!
Watching your videos just makes me want to go out and explore! I'm going through so much rn and this is all I want! Maybe soon! Another amazing video can't wait for the next one! ❤️ Be safe out there!!
Good morning happy Sunday morning to you and I enjoy your channel and you are amazing supporter
First!
What is the last day of climbing season?
Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I am so proud of you accomplishing this monumental feat. Your skills with these videos really comes through, and I am sure it was quite challenging at times on a hike of this magnitude. I am glad you had the support of your husband. Many blessings to you and your family.
Jesus christ grow up, o my "feelings" stfu. It's life, deal with it. I swear, you guys are idiots with your "feelings"
Visited the area about 30 years ago. Drove the hill!😳👍😎🇨🇦
Thank you for sharing your video. I have a question, please. How much water is needed to rehydrate 100 grams of food? I always seem to mess this up. I'm so used to eating military MRE meals no water needed for these, only to warm them up. Rehydrating is a new concept for me.❤
I live right by Thetis Lake lol
I love Thetis Lake, it’s so beautiful especially going to swim to the mini island there
I live in Victoria too
Loved this whole series of the GDT
I’m in Victoria… I wish I could get out for a long wild hike like this lol
Great video.
Such a beautiful area!
Not me thinking the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia 😂
That's truly beautiful country. Actual rain forest is pretty exotic to me -- I have hiked in a lot of different environments but this is so verdant -- every surface has something green growing on it. It's great to see you both hiking together again. I hope the entire trip was a joy for you guys.
Planning a 2025 trip and this was so informative!
Hi can you store in container or is it best to freeze the dryed food and have them ready for your trip IRL
loved the way this was shot! great work guys :) looking forward to the next part
So pretty!!!
Why did you opt to tent camp instead of using one of the huts? Never mind, just got to that part in the video. Glad you have the flexibility of a tent or the huts.
Spectacular! Those huts look awesome--I have never hiked hut to hut before. So you are on the Sunshine Coast--reminds me a bit of our Olympic Peninsula. Wolves--that is so cool! So great to see the two of you out there again.
Love it! It's on my todo list. I'm from Quebec and we have a few hut to hut hikes here as well. The most popular one is Traversée de Charlevoix at 105km but will soon be extended to 130km. And SIA/IAT trail that is 650km which I've hiked in 2021. I stayed almost exclusively in the amazing huts :) We have lots of shorter ones around 50km, like Sentiers des Caps, Sentier du Fjord, Le Philosore, Lac Kenogami, etc.
Amazing place indeed, thanks for sharing. I enjoyed the nice video quality and all the details.
Beautiful!
Such a great idea to plan initial/ certain hikes as training hikes & for motivation...rather than having the pressure of other types of training might perhaps that be less enjoyable/ motivating.
Beautiful scenery. Your nails look so nice. I also noticed you kept them up while hiking the PCT. Classy.
Thanks for the great video! Out of curiosity what maps did you use? In the early part of the video I saw you pulled up a map on your phone? Planning to do the trail the first week of October.
I was glued at ferry to the rocks!! Wow! What a beautiful place!! Thank you for taking us along!! 🥾🥾⛺️🥰😊
So many mice in those huts, we never used one on our entire hike. Great video. Thanks.
Good morning! So lovely! Are there bear boxes for overnight food storage? I am wondering if a bear bag or bear canister is needed. Thanks for the lovely video! I look forward to the next one! ❤
As a fellow PNWer, Sunshine Coast Trail seems like an overly optimistic name....
Wow!!! So beautiful. Thanks for sharing 😊
Sunday!
