From where it all started: The Tinkerbell phase of this channel. During late 2023, I tried to find a good fitting song of the Cumbres & Toltec but however I came across this song and instantly I thought D&S K-37 493. From then, I kept this song in mind and then decided to make a music video of this song. I was supposed to upload this later but since it was St Patrick’s Day maybe I should upload something. But later did I know, this gave traction to me to explore the Disney Fairies Franchise. Many narrow gauge steam engines and Tinkerbell were mixed in around mid-March (NCNG 9, DRGW 168, SPNG 18, NCNG 5) but by March 30th things were starting to change. As more characters were explored, the interest started to rise. Vidia & Silvermist caught my eye and then became my favorite fairies. Others followed afterwards. By graduation of high school, the Tinkerbell interest has evolved and got many narrow gauge engines.

Good shots! The porter is currently owned and engineered by the Wilmunder Family. In the 1930's it was run off the end of the line by a drunken employee and wasn't able to be accessed by the scrap drivers during WW2. Hal Wilmunder bought the engine from scrap price in 1949 for only $185 and and started restoring the engine in his parent's backyard in Sacramento, later being moved to Roseville on the Antelope & Western, which shut down in 1962 cause of housing development. It along with the other A&W equipment were then moved up to Camino for the Camino Cable & Northern Railway, until that too was shut down. it remained in storage until it was acquired by Hal's son Les (who is engineering the locomotive in the video) who had it moved up to NCNGRRM in 2003 and completely restored with a new tender for wood and water capacity and fire suppression purposes. it later was moved back to the family property in Oroville around 2011, bouncing between Ardenwood Historic Farm for operations and storage, before finally returning to the NCNG Museum in 2017. It is a very overlooked locomotive and is probably one of the finest NG locomotives in the state. Thank you for the videos, hope you have enjoyed your visit!

About year ago i was just tere at the dead line and 3 engines that i was one was c44 and sd90mac and sd60m first locomotive that i went on was up c44accte 9783 and other 2 emds forgot the numbering

@@SPNGLovato18 Okay here’s my theory, my 2022-2023 catches might’ve been a whole lot different because in Michigan Csx should of had more dash 8s and 9s leading or trailing on trains instead of those new gevos we have today! So if one of my family members was the boss of Csx stepped in partnership with Joe hinnrichs here’s what should of happened: 1 getting rid of Csx engines 3000-3499 2 less engines having raised letter K5hls and either replacing those horns with K5hlas, K5hs or K5las, 3 Only the dash 8s would get rebuilt into CM40-8Ws and would have some YN4 and including the YN3C. For example Csx 7800 7801 7802 7803 7804 7805 7806 7807 7809 7810 7811 7812, 7823, 7827, 7836, 7848, 7842, 7843, basically all the 7800s until 7899 would be rebuilt first in 2017, and Csx should of kept all the 7700s in YN2 due to how nice it looked, this would range from 7700-7799 all in YN2 until January 1st 2024 only 100 units would enter storage for rebuild and what about the Sd70macs and Cm44Acs,( The Mac’s would be all retired and put into storage and most likely sold, while on the other hand CM44AHs and ACs would be hard switching at times and doing short distance jobs while the other engines on the roster like SD40s, SD50s, early ES44AHs, AC60CWs , CM40-8Ws( series from 7648-7929 all in service and including the Dash 9s, which would be in service until the end of 2024, All the slugs and Sd70ces would be long gone still including the ET44AHs and Mac’s! And it would of been nice if Csx had a 1000 dash 9s like Ns did, from 9000-9999 so the luck for me would be so great which is always getting engines what I like and are okay with + it’d be a cool too if all 50 of the ac44cws had FF RL K5hls( meaning they’re rare too) don’t forget I’d have some engines have the early RL K5hl like Csx 894, 900, 888, 890 including some dash 8s and 9s! So yeah this sums my theory up, if you were to take control of class 1s of if your family member was hired as a manager, what would they do or you? Let me know what you think of my theory as well!

@@SPNGLovato18 Yeah! Also dash 8s and 9 rebuilds should be called CM40-8Ws or CM40-9Ws instead of that trash name AC44C6M! It’s so confusing 🫤 and I don’t like it! But I still don’t mind seeing those engines I just hate the name! + all class 1 railroads should become in partnership for the Csx lines in Michigan meaning( All other railroads are licensed to go to Michigan and all over the state including all the sub divisions and Detroit. Because all Csx can get very boring + other railroads are so lucky to have dash 9s and 8s including the rebuilds, however! CSX THEMSELVES doesn’t have or might have 0 potential to rebuild older engines always caring about all new! For example Bnsf rebuild their fleet of dash 9s from Bnsf 600-699 ig + UP rebuilt their dash 9s from 9500-9000 and Ns themselves 9000-9999! And not cn that much! But yeah I wish Csx had more potential like the rest, but hey who knows, maybe Csx could this year come up with a way to rebuild their dash 8s and 9s!

It made no sense to store the rebuilds, + 7811 should NOT be retired, all Csx should do is rebuild the rest of the fleet including some dash 9s! But class 1 railroads don’t give a S### for some reason like bnsf would with rebuilding their dash 8s..

@@NelsonMiranda-uw8er there’s no admission for the museum and the area in it but if you want to ride the trains it’ll cost $5 to ride behind any of the steam engines and $20 for a cab ride

@@Buckskin1290 Amtrak dash 8s are a lot rarer than you think. UP Dash 9s are just going under rebuilds but BNSF Dash 9s are still in service but you can find a lot in the Barstow area
