    Dxf files can be imported into Geostudio. Try to create a .Dxf file.

    Why are you applying a geostatic first step to the entire model before building some parts? It seems wrong to calculate something in parts that have not yet been built.

    The tutorial is a guideline on sequential construction. It does not match some of the original practical conditions.

    Hello sir, how 100 KN of PWP was applied, was it based on the calculation of 2m depth or it was a random value. furthermore, for a 2m depth, I think it would be around 20000N/m2.

    Hello sir, why did you put the roller as a bottom boundary condition and apply EQ in the fixed set. if we select the bottom boundary condition as roller one, can't we apply EQ in the roller set?

    What would be an appropriate factor by which the size of the finite element domain should differ from the size of the infinite element for optimal results?

    They can be the same, i.e., 1:1 ratio. Do not put larger-sized infinite elements than the finite ones.

    @@pranjlm Hello, Why do I consistently encounter excessive deformations at a certain second of seismic acceleration when performing analysis with infinite elements, leading to the error message "The ratio of deformation speed to wave speed exceeds 1.0000 in at least one element"? Is it because my infinite elements are failing to effectively absorb energy, causing energy accumulation that suddenly results in significant deformations at a specific time?

    @@pranjlm Hello, if the unit of my elastic modulus (E) is in pascals (Pa) and the unit of yield stress is also in pascals (Pa), should I use kilograms (kg) or newtons (N) for the unit weight of the soil? I am little confused SO, can you suggest how to refine mesh? I do this for almost 1week and I can't find good ways. really appreciate.

    Hello, Professor, I use the technique in 7:05 to avoid select the common boundary, but when I do the jobs, my soil was squeeze out in x direction on edges, I don't know why your example is success and mine is fail

    @@pranjlm I have seen full tutorial, i am confused with getting fos in static and dynamic analysis. My question is when do we vary reduction factor with time , won't it be said as dynamic analysis. if yes then how can we get fos in static analysis of soil slope.

    @@sharbatasneem2124 I guess you are misunderstanding the word dynamic with pseudostatic. In pseudostatic analysis of FoS, seismic coefficients are used. Also please mail me at [email protected] so that we can have better discussion.
