Why are you applying a geostatic first step to the entire model before building some parts? It seems wrong to calculate something in parts that have not yet been built.

They can be the same, i.e., 1:1 ratio. Do not put larger-sized infinite elements than the finite ones.

@@pranjlm Hello, Why do I consistently encounter excessive deformations at a certain second of seismic acceleration when performing analysis with infinite elements, leading to the error message "The ratio of deformation speed to wave speed exceeds 1.0000 in at least one element"? Is it because my infinite elements are failing to effectively absorb energy, causing energy accumulation that suddenly results in significant deformations at a specific time?

Hello, Professor, I use the technique in 7:05 to avoid select the common boundary, but when I do the jobs, my soil was squeeze out in x direction on edges, I don't know why your example is success and mine is fail
