Look at what the hurricane did ,I can remember when rough sea wash away all the sand from cold bay leave just rocks and after a certain time the sand came and cover back the bay

Visited Bequia many times, then lived on it for several months. Been down the road by the airport. Been to Moon Hole. Sad to see the damage, and the sand washed away. Have friend on Bequia now, he has been busy fixing roofs, and helping people out. Glad to see the video.

Sorry about the present state of the beach. However, with the help of the department responsible for the beach front and volunteers from the community etc, this can be restored, if not to its original state, to a relatively functional order. Thank God that homes and lives were not totally lost and destroyed there as on the other Grenadine Islands and in Grenada. Praying for everyone affected by this disaster. God is more than ABLE. I remember one time there went looking for land crabs at a place called salt pan with the flambo for light. An experience I can definitely say when you think it was almost 50 years ago.

I like your videos but it’s sad watching the impact it has had on the mainland but more importantly the grenadines have been very badly affected. As I previously mentioned I came to SVG in 1975 I need to come back and spend some time there. It is a pretty island and I have a lot of family there.

These islands are used to hurricanes it’s been happening for centuries although SVG Misses a lot them because of their location anyway they have the volcano to deal with. I saw another video from another vlogger walk on and he showed Villa and I thought blimey I used to swim across to youngs island now that would be out of the question.

Thanks for sharing the video SVG Is where my wife was born it’s a pretty island and improving rapidly from when I first landed their on the 19th of August 1975 things looked a lot different then and I stayed in Richmond Hill for four weeks. Then came back there in 1989 and stayed at Indian bay. The wife has been back since in 2017 but I think next year I might go for a couple of months, I like the idea of flying direct instead of getting the Liat or getting stuck in Barbados which happened once before.
