There are directions as to where to join the cabinets together. I agree, sometimes Ikea instructions are a bit confusing, but most of the time you just need to follow them.

Nice Jerry, like the blocks- I always used some hardwood spacer blocks I made for this type stuff, you know before the ready made blocks came out. Good info on dimensions off side and especially the bottom- that’s one that gets a lot of people.

Nice Jerry, I put a few of these in earlier this year, you can definitely get screwed up in a hurry if your clearances are off. I like those blocks, where did you get that set? Have a good one brother 👍🏼😎🇺🇸

That fits and works really good Jerry. I didn't even think about using those block to set the distance properly. This is a job I would screw up if I tried it

Much better than my old way of running the tape out to one corner then to the opposite corner, then determining the last point of contact on each plane of the tape in the second corner and dividing the difference and adding the difference to the first measurement. I learned the way you show when I ordered my new countertops... no stopping me now ! Great to see you Jerry 👍
