@@UniPunch Is that the right website for the press? When I go to it it's some weird website about strategic clarity manufacturing consulting... Does not mention presses anywhere.
I've seen this ad more times than I can remember and I STILL don't know what it does..

I like Jeff. Good speaker, nice voice, super personable and speaks with confidence. Jeff, you should post content.
And ....they are all the same. If the rod wont fit it aint gonna be fun.
10 a minute is 600 an hour
Next you can have a machine made that makes all the welds at one time designed and built at Universal Machine Co., of Pottstown, PA. USA.
This is a great idea if you have a hydraulic press brake, or a punch press. Lacking those tools you can build a hydraulic press with small cylinders and a pumping system. Not such an easy setup though. I use to work at Borg Warner"s radiator R&D plant in Coldwater, Michigan. We did a lot of one off radiators, that shared the same hole spacing. A piece of 1/2" by 6 with multiple holes in it could be setup to hold Strippit dies. They are the same design as the UniPunches. Great idea and a real time saver. They improved quality too. Once the bar was made the holes were always in the same location. Using an ironworker with a single punch and a stop, the steel bends and twists when the punch goes through. Each hole puts the others slightly out of position.
they made 60 holes in one hour, now they make 10 in ten minutes, hmmmmm sounds like the exact same to me! I think they need to re think this ad
Earl Van Fleet or perhaps you should go back and listen to the commentary again. He said they were previously doing 60 verticals (the entire flat with the holes in it) per hour and now they are doing 10 verticals in one minute.
Earl Van Fleet Are you deaf ??
At 1:09 he is saying that he was previously doing 60 complete parts per hour (1 a minute) and now he is doing 10 complete parts per minute (600 in an hour). The verticals he refers to are the part.
I used to make grates exactly like this in Stainless...very time consuming, the boss would never spend any $$...had to do all the 1/2" holes on a Bridgeport...no DRO...
byronmill Even if the duration of punching was the same there would be a greater output due to the saving of rewording the verticals and forcing the rods through. Rework is unsatisfactory for a manufacturing plant. Rework costs more than the original cost of doing business. Not only do you have to stop production, spend time lost, removal, rework, insert back into production, now the line has to get back in the rhythm of production, all of that costs more than the original part did, and you have to add that to Cost of doing Business.
I'd like to introduce and sale your products in Vietnam, could you tell me the policy for distributor?
