This is amazing! How do you do the closure once you've completed? Like what do i do with the stopper bead?
Thank you for your comment. The stopper bead is just taken off at the end. As for closures; I have another video all about adding clasps to beadwork: kzread.info/dash/bejne/rK6dpJtvndOsdMY.html Hope that helps.
Oh my god I cannot listen to your nightmare voice!!!!
What a nasty comment.
Thank you so much for the video
This is an amazing video! I have to see how I will end up doing a jacket for a customer of mine.
Where to get 7.felting needles. I am from India. Is ir available in USA
Wonderful instructions and photos--GREAT video. But where can I buy camel's hair "felting wool" and the tools you are using??? I live across the river from NY City's old (and gutted) "garment district." Might I find the tools there? I have several beautiful camel's hair garments I cannot bear to throw out.
Thank you ❤
Would you please list more specifics about the type/model/size of drill or drummel and drill bits you are using here? I am trying to figure out which items to buy to drill my shells, but I have never used a drill before and don’t have a clue.
Sold a beautiful Vintage Ralph Lauren wool blazer. However, it had tiny moth holes, so I couldn't ship it out until I repaired it. Thank you for this straightforward instructional video ❤
I'm making mother of pearl inlays for a knife and I need to drill holes through it,what bit did you use? A diamond coated Dremel bit?
Yes, I used diamond coated bits.
@@CraftyCreature i figured it out and posted a video on KZread on how to drill through mother of pearl because there were practically no videos for me when I needed help except yours but I figured it out and the Inlays are gorgeous on the knife
Thanks so much, I feelt confident to start my repairs. And they looked great. Thanks. Very grateful!
It was very helpful. Thank you.
Its very interesting but the editing is very confusing for me 😊 its jumping during the process (I guess when you pull the thread) and thats make me confused. 😕
Sorry you got confused. I know this video isn't one of my best efforts; I intend to do a re-upload in due course.
Brilliant explanation of method for even or odd number of stitches.
Very detailed explanation on tools and purposes. Thank you for your time. Great video ❤
Thank you for posting this! Excellent explanation. It's been a long time since I altered a jacket sleeve and I really needed a refresher! I decided I'm going to end up with a sleeve length that's a bit longer than ideal so I can have the button not quite so close to the edge.
Thank you!! I’ve always wondered ….doesnt the felting needle cut into the existing weave and weaken those pre-woven strands for future wear?
Can't say I've heard of that happening. The old fibres become blended with the new which makes for a strong and permanent repair. I know it looks a bit savage, repeatedly stabbing the fabric with a needle, but I'd say it's no weaker than a piece of embroidery, for example.
That was amazing! Thanks for sharing.
Cant see anything ur instructions sre covering ur hands
rude + wrong fr
I didn't do exactly this, but at least was able to fix my favorite coat combining few videos diy. Thanks
How permanet is this repair?
Completely permanent.
good tutorial,.. I'm trying to learn to make the fringe earrings better,.. and was thinking of a bracelet...
so "cool" lol. any videos with glass?
lol. Just this video, I'm afraid.
U need a disclaimer people to not use with plugged wires and only battery operated drills!
amazing, thank you, i will try use this method to repair a couple of holes in a felt black cape i have (vintage), i think it will work well.
Great tutorial 👍🙂thank you so much for this, very helpful
Very handy, thank you!
Thank you very much. Good idea with the submerged item in water, but the conch-shell I tried to drill was UNDRILLABLE with the tools/drillbits you offered!
Something as big/thick as a conch might require a more substantial drill. The hobby drill I used is more suitable for smaller item. Did you even manage to make a dent in it, or was it a complete no-go? I'm quite curious to know what you're working on to want to drill a conch!
Thank you. Excellent guide.
Wow, it never dawned on me how simple and ingenious, this repair would be. Which fabrics is it most applicable to? Please.
It works best with felt and woollen fabric including knits, but also works well on most medium- to heavy weight including cotton, denim, and velvet.
Loved your channel. It gives lot of beginners friendly tutorials
This is really smart! Im going to try this
Thank you so much. i bought some ceramic miniatures and want to make pendants. This will really help!
What a great video. I followed it step by step and it made it so easy. Many thanks!!!
Спасибо большое 😊😊😊 у меня получилось! Это работает🎉🎉🎉
You are amazing! Thank you. I pulled out my wool overcoat for a funeral and noticed, to my horror that it had moth holes. I was able to repair it. Thank you!!!
Such wonderful tips! Thank you!
Lovely! I’m new to sewing and this channel is my favourite when it comes to all crafty things, thank you!
Thank you 😊
Thank you for this very easy and beautiful style. ❤
I'm going to try this--thank you so much for your guidance! :)
Thank you. I didn't know what the lapped seam was. Good to know.
This is genius! Thank-you so mich for teaching me!
Water and power tools. Bahahahahaha
This is why I got a hand drill with changeable bits
Very helpful, thank you. Can you use this method on large holes?
Yes, you can. You'll have to built the felting wool up in a few layers, but I've seen this done on holes a couple of inches across.
Because I forgot to mention it in the video: the interchangeable needle set is by KnitPro knitproneedles.co.uk/shop/sets/karbonz-interchangeable-circular-needle-set/
