I'm a Wiradjuri trans person, and a Professor in the Dept of Critical Indigenous Studies at Macquarie University in Sydney. My work is mostly focused on Indigenous creative practice, museums, gender and LGBTIQA+ folks. I'm also doing a new(ish) project focused on older people and dignity.
Focusing on kindness and communication is the focus of (hopefully) all the work found here. I have a lot of family videos up too, just as a plonking space for others to engage.

Sending my deepest condolences to your family. I can tell she had such a sweet spirit. Listening to her put a smile on my face just hearing her speak about things she’s experienced in her life. I too lost my grandmother when I was 18, and I’m now 32 and I dealt heavily with grief. Then depression hit hard. Gina you’re an amazing sister, mother, cousin, auntie, daughter , grandmother. Wa just crying my eyes out just before i saw your video missing my husband terribly. He just passed away 13th of June this year due to cancer as well (4 years) and i feel so lost and alone. Been crying everyday and it just comes whenever. I hope you are all doing better than I am and sending you hugs and love.❤️

You are a beautiful angel sent by God to help us understand and appreciate your words of love and caring for others. You show us how we should appreciate what surrounds us and we need to notice the things big and small, because no one is guaranteed a tomorrow.
