Center for Biological Diversity

Since 1989 the Center for Biological Diversity has worked through science, law and creative media to secure a future for all species, great or small, hovering on the brink of extinction. We've successfully protected hundreds of plant and animal species, as well as hundreds of millions acres of habitat.

    Thank you for trying to get the info and data on what big pharma does -- i'll bet there's plenty of waste and abuse going on. And where there's a synthetic test available there is absolutely no reason for pharma to continue.

    I wish they wouldn't put those tracking collars on wild animals. Imagine if they put one on you round your neck how uncomfortable that would be.

  • @LouiseGray-sx1dt
    @LouiseGray-sx1dtАй бұрын

    We hate tracking collars also but they are literally LIFE SAVERS! True story to give you an idea- July 2015 the magnificent CECIL THE LION a rare black maned lion was basically murdered by one of these psychos - “sports hunters” and the ONLY reason the world found out about these unspeakable crimes was due to a tracking collar.

    This. Hard to believe that with all the technological advances we’ve made we can’t come up with far less obtrusive trackers. In this day and age those clunky collars are just plain cruel.

    Would you prefer surgery and transmitter implantation? Very cruel and risk of infection is high .

  • @calexprenas

    @@jeanmontgomerie4114Nobody believes those terrible collars or risky surgery are the only two options that can exist. Humans can do better. If a better alternative doesn’t exist and hasn’t been vehemently sought out, that’s something for the field to be ashamed of.
