Welcome back to the Foxhole.🦊🤘🐭 This single reached Number 1 best selling single in the US Billboard rock/metal chart for the first time for both bands! Gotta love SuMetal in full Su-ccubus mode.😈🤘❤️ They cut the final part when Su said louder "Thank you Nico and Kevin from Electric Callboy" and all of them hug each other just like they did it again at Rock Im Park and Rock Am Ring recently. Fun fact: One of the singers said that it was kinda hard to do that dance move with the hand while moving the head at the beginning. Also at the end, during the third chorus, which btw was a BM suggestion to include (EC didn't want a third chorus), in the MV you can see them doing the same dance move waving theirs arms up and down, they wanted to do it in the live version but they failed and quit when starting with the wrong foot lol Another more recent fun fact: BM said in a interview that they got this song and felt they needed to ask EC to collaborate with them because it wasn't complete without them. It is known BM composers and producer love to make tributes and make songs with certain influence on another bands, they did it a lot of times before, one of the most known was with DragonForce doing the guitar arrangements for Road Of Resistance album version, this time EC got more involved in the whole song and that's why they got another 50% of collab credits, so it was a BM initiative. EC played after this at Sweeden Rock. After that they played with BM together once again at Rock Im Park during EC setlist and later at BM setlist with the girls wearing new badass outfits, they also did it the next day at Rock Am Ring twice and there are two cool proshot clips already. They've been rocking out the Europe Tour with this and hopefully they will do it together once again at any festival around when they will meet again, unfortunately Download couldn't happen bc one of EC singer was ill. In this one, is babymetal supplying the musicians? drummer did NOT look like EC's drummer in the brief flashes they showed him. Official Music Video is EC band. I have seen a babymetal show when EC wasn't present so babymetal musicians played and they had video of EC singers. Now this.....please advise. whomever may know. haha

I was at FOX_FEST and they performed this towards the end of Babymetal's set, so it was just Kevin and Nico who came out to perform with Babymetal and the Kami Band.
Fun reaction folks. The mv of this song in it's own way totally amps up the energy. And once you see the mv the choreography totally makes more sense. Both bands had a blast making this and what got left out of this video was the adorable hugs each band was giving to each other at the end. Just a joyous performance. This was performed twice at the Fox-Fest Festival hosted by Babymetal.

They were all singing. Electric Callboy create a unique sound sometimes called partycore. If the timing was right, this would be in Eurovision. They do such a great job of mixing EDM, rock and metalcore. Their live shows are non stop parties.
No it would not be in Eurovision because the German judges are cowards, they don't let anything that is not super radio friendly into the contest.
I believe the fact that 50% of this song is coming from a band based in Japan, disqualifies for a potential participation in Eurovision Song Contest anyway.

Usually the "Live" versions are recommended, but I'm dissapointed in this recent trend of "fan cam" style live videos as they just don't display the quality we've come to expect from BM. The fast cuts and bicected screen are distracting. I tolerated it for Kingslayer, first because there are no other options and the song is so iconic, but here, the studio version is much more satisfing. Just M. O.

It's an ongoing trend to make/cut official live videos this way right now. Yes, it's not the most optimal way to do it imo too.
I think there needs to be a distinction made between these recent videos from festivals vs BM’s official BluRay videos that we are used to. Starting with Kingslayer, Metali, this, and BND, these are newer types of videos we have not seen BM do before. It’s probably more of a marketing thing in my opinion.
Ratatata reminds me a little too much of PA PA YA!! and is not really my kind of music even if they are cute in most of their videos.

It´s filmed in Tyresö, and Tommy now lives in the middle Sweden, Falun, Pontare got 7:th place in Eurovision.

If anyone could pull this song off, it was Melody. She's so heavily influenced by Ronnie James Dio, so you know she loved getting to do this cover. Done by the master himself. Not an easy song even for a trained singer with a strong voice.
