Comments to stuff like this can be so silly. Alabama lost this game and the next game. So every time Alabama beats a team, an Alabama fan has to find a video of some point in the past where that team beat Alabama and remind everyone that said team is not undefeated against Alabama since the posting of the video? That sounds exhausting.

I hear a lot of people saying that American football is easy to play and not physically taxing. Well, if it's so easy to play, go to America and play, because you'll earn more in one year in the NFL than what you will playing 10 years in the NRL. Even if you find it "boring", that should be no problem for you--people all over the world go to "boring" jobs 38 hours per week for far less money, so you shouldn't have any problems getting a few million for something "boring" yet "easy".

Sports "journalists" are some of the biggest nerds & losers on planet Earth. No wonder these coaches always get irritated at having to do these stupid & pointless press conferences.

true, but les miles is good too, championships speak for themselves. sec coaches have it tough every year, just look at the schedules, the other teams dont really play anyone till they have to play an sec team.. history speaks for itself, the last six years, sec teams have won the crystal ball.. even after beating up on themselves, pretty amazing, so when these pimple faced punks get on here and praise these other teams and call sec petty little school yard names, i just laugh..

the duck??? are u kidding??? u are kidding right???? when was the last time the ducks won a national title??? your little childish nicknames for these championship teams says a lot about you, it tells me you really dont know much about football, and you probably never played the game, but you can learn more by reading stats on espn.com.. check it out, you may surprise yourself, and you will learn there is no conference in this country as tough as the sec.. like it or not...

This is the worst penalty I've seen in a football game, and it likely will always be the worst. I'm not a fan of either team but it annoyed the shit out of me when they called it.

It's been a pretty even series since Saban turned the Tide around. Definitly the best rivalry in college football right now. I expect both teams to be undefeated and ranked #1 and #2 yet again when Bama comes to Death Valley.

k buddy, agree to disagree. Rugby is a clusterfuck, while American football is schematic and detail-oriented. The "you pansies wear pads" argument has been parroted by insecure Brits, Aussies and Kiwis for the better part of a century. The truth is that the composite alloys and other materials in football helmets and pads provide more mass and cause more damage on impact than any short-necked, thick-skilled Aussie ever could Rugby is checkers. American football is chess. Don't bother responding

It's League not Union. BTW, even your own players by admission aren't as tough as League players. You guys wear enough gear to survive a few rounds from a 50 Cal. League players wear a mouth guard and that's about it. We have true athletes in our game. Our forwards are fit unlike your line men who look like they're thinking about food for most of the game. Our game is continuous and our players are fit enough and strong enough to play the duration of it. NFL is boring to watch. NRL is excitement

You've clearly never heard of Michael Ennis. Known as "the Grub" in the NRL he continually sledges and taunts opposition players. It's aimed at provoking the players and trying to get them to do something stupid so that they'll get penalised. If you're upset because some guy laughs at you when he's about to score then your not the mature one. If you turn around and deck the guy because he celebrated then you have an anger management issue.

"Yanks gotta harden up"...Listen, I know its both popular & easy to take every opportunity to insult Americans, but try to understand that culture & nationality have nothing to do with it. The NCAA and collegiate sports in general are trying to emphasize maturity and sportsmanship with these types of rules. I totally disagree with the call in this case, but the rule Is geared at preventing cursing/jeering/taunting, which when combined with testosterone can and does cause fistfights and brawls.

Do you even know anything? Oklahoma had 2 losses, and if Oregon beats USC that would give them 1 loss and be the Pac 12 Champ. No way the BCS puts Bama ahead of them, either way would be a rematch and Oregon would get the nod bc they won their conference. I mean seriously dude did you watch anything? I said they run themselves into the ground which is true bc they rarely throw the ball, esp when they need too. Les is a phenomenal recruiter, but Saban would be working on title 4 by now at LSU

  • @youcancallmebigdaddy

ha. oregon was no where near the nc. Oklahoma was next in line. i find it humorous that you think that oregon would have been chosen over Alabama or Oklahoma. And if Les' success is based on luck then why does his team consistently turn out to be a winning team? Thats not luck. Thats a good coach. BTW who does his recruiting? he does the majority of it. Check it out. I guess a this time next year we can resume this convo where i will point out that this team wasn't run into the ground....
