Claycomb sounds more like a crow than a crow does. Which crow call is that? I’ve got to have one!
It's a Champion Crow by Mike Battey (Wildtalker game calls). Thanks for watching!

Beards.... 🤦♂️
That’s definitely one of your best hunts yet. I just knew that gobbler was gonna bust you when you moved lol that was close.
Had to do something, David. If I would've stayed where I was, you wouldn't have seen Kyle sitting there (let alone a turkey). Glad you liked it. I appreciate ya watching!
Thanks guys! Great hunt!

Mighty fine fellers

Great hunt.. glad to see you back
Thanks for watching Rob!
Glad to have your excellent videos to watch thanks again chad
Thank YOU for watching David! I really appreciate it
I been rewatching some of the previous seasons. Glad to see some new episodes. Some of us never really get out of Turkey hunting mode. Chad you ever tally up the miles you walk in a season? I do every year and 100 plus miles of walking is common. Watching your videos you got to be putting in some triple digits…not to the mention up and down terrain. A hundred miles in Louisiana would seem like cake lol.
Well, I really appreciate ya watching! I'm not sure how accurate it is, but according to my phone, I walked 176 miles during the 2023 spring turkey season.
Likewise
Glad to have you back on. Excited to see this past season’s adventures
I really enjoy your videos. Because you show that you don't always succeed. Which is real turkey hunting
I've always wanted to show all the UPS & DOWNS of a REAL turkey season. I appreciate ya watching!
En çok sedigim doğada gezmek istiyorum
If you’re just hunting and not trying to film that’s a dead gobbler all day. I really enjoy your videos. Pure wholesome turkey hunting
I'm glad you enjoyed them. Thanks for following along!
i had a hen broad breasted turky gobble today and i went to see if hens can gobble amazing... been raising turkeys for a few years now, never once seen a female gobble
It's pretty rare. But it does happen. Very cool!
@claycomboutdooors yeah I heard gobbles I went outside one of my hens was puffed up like a Tom and was gobbling.. I assume a predator must have been close.. lol
Interesting...does she have poults?
@claycomboutdooors no this is a young turkey itself...was born in March
Gotcha. Raised with many brothers?

Call them on the roost. Your killing me 😂
112 is the time stamp if you use this to practice calling
My second season and I'm still getting my ass kicked, but having a blast!!!
I've been chasing turkeys for 37 years & still get mine kicked! It's how you learn & the day I stop learning is the day I quit. Thanks for watching Sloan!
You are probably hunting some of the hardest turkeys to hunt in the country.Big woods WV PA. Thanx for sharing
It's what i live for. Appreciate ya watching William!
Awesome video Chad!! Love your beard looking good 👍
Thanks! Appreciate ya watching
Thanks for sharing, Always great commentary out in the woods. Good Luck this year!
Thanks! I appreciate you watching. Good luck to you as well!
Great video once again. I'm going out tomorrow to try and find a bird myself with some old friends.
Good luck!
You show the raw reality of turkey hunting. Sometimes, (most of the time) it is freaking tough!! I love that you show the tough parts and not just the hardcore action. That's exactly what I intend to do with my channel. I want to show the good, the bad, and the ugly. By watching you and several others on here, it's really inspired me to try to create some cool turkey hunting content. Good luck this season, man!!
I've always wanted to show the UPS & DOWNS of a REAL turkey season. Good luck with your channel & thanks for watching!

tuff conditions your hunting partner is a trooper , 3 days I be waiting for a brake in the weather . but I know how public land birds are . hunt and live in Vt. & Pa. good work Clay.
Appreciate ya watching!
Heck of a turkey hunter😮 i put a lotta thought into my turkey hunting and some reasons for turkeys not gobbling as much i think could be due to certain nutrients derived from various native plants in the woods that arent there anymore its changed alot not many wild natural fields with the native plants and flowers either 💐 . What i do is let them play for what they can do then i do the real irritated hen scolding them cause they quit calling soon the intimidation sets in it might take a while for them too get the courage to gobbler some more but they will. I think many times gobblers are slow to do things because their naturally stubborn and lazy and do perfer the hens strolling too them some not as much but most are i think. But once you get them feeling right again about goobling again even though they may not be all in you just keep scolding him intimidating him bigtime he might come in head low silent pouting but whatever the key is he thinks he needs to do what the hen wants him to do or at least try to figure out what he's gonna do when he gets there. Also when he sets eyes on her he'll instantly know why he was getting the scold because she's a hot looking hen and she knows it and she wants or needs to nest again. But that's the scold... I'll make those gobblers think their dogshi if they wont gobble it up and get moving and chasing hens they aren't going anywhere their listening to every bit of it trying to get it in their heads. God bless may another adventure enter your life😮
Hmmm interesting. Thanks for watching!
I see the dead Ash trees there too. Emerald Ash borer wrecked the Ash in SW Pa. How’s the 1st few days of wva season been for ya this year?
It's crazy Brad. A few years ago, I was on top of a ridge on a very windy day & it sounded like bombs were going off (all the dead ash trees toppling over)!
At least you seen a turkey an that was some beautiful country
No doubt Rob. Thanks for following along!
Man ya had me Belly Laughin Chad, when ya dozed off 🤣 Any True Member of the Legion has been there! Like ya said if ya hear No gobble at dawn, n your All tuckered out and trying to be Patient, well that spells NAP every time 😉 Rootin for ya to find the Right bird, on the Right Day!!
Appreciate ya watching Porky!
Another fun hunt and great video, cool hen , sneaky little hen 😁👍🏻
Great video, I'm heading out tomorrow to start my 2024 season. Looking forward to your next video.

🦃,,Darn Turkey Hunting , 🙉🙉😬,, Thanks Brother,, 🙏🦊
Thank YOU for watching! Good luck out there
Best yelper in the game!
Saw and HEARD u running back to the camera on the hen. Tough in these open woods man. Setups are so critical.
Possibly. But she didn't see or hear me run out there. I'm leaning more towards the hikers after watching the footage. Thanks for watching!
He has played that game before. He walked up where he should have seen a hen and nothing was there so he dipped out.
Appreciate ya watching Curtis!
Holy Chad, that cutting & yelping @ 24:57 was extremely realistic! I listened to it multiple times with my eyes closed and could definitely see a hen yelpin'! Awesome calling and awesome filming, brother!
Thank you sir. I appreciate ya watching!
