  Love this song. Both wore current 90's rock clothes. Not a big deal. Cher & many other's have worn less & really don't care. Guys can wear whatever they like & no one cares. If a woman dresses sexy & she's a slut, she doesn't & she's a prude, etc. Let's just concentrate on the music - and this was way better than the silly PF bubblegum!! As for their relationship. Both had issues & none of us were in their house.

  jack là dans les images c'est un militaire, qui va a l'eglise, et qui fait pondre un rejeton a une pouf aux yeux bleus ! (et on remarquera le clip en noir et blanc... sauf les yeux bleus de la pouf a 1:11 ) il a vraiment rien compris dans la vie 🤣😂 a coté de ca le clip ne colle pas du tout avec les lyrics puisqu'il lui file ses 500 balles et qu'il lui dit au revoir, rien a changé, et il regrette rien ! (il ne l'epouse pas, donc il n'est pas trompé etc etc etc etc)

  This was 80’s cheese at best, and clearly a fail for Cassidy. Read his biography and he was full of himself and kind of the stereotypical arrogant a-hole rockstar you hear about from my perspective. As for his wife, well she was into music like him. His popularity never really reached the heights of his early 70’s fame. Heard he fell apart after an injury in his middle age and being prescribed OxyContin and it led to his downfall. According to Danny Bonaduce upon Cassidy dying.

  To all the Sue Shifrin haters out there: First off, no, she shouldn’t have worn what she’s wearing here. David Cassidy was a very sexy man. I think she’s wearing this to prove that she’s just as sexy as he is. I fully agree that there are better ways to achieve this instead of a catsuit. It didn’t flatter her, and it turned people off. But is a poor wardrobe choice really a cause to hate her???!!! Secondly, several people have said that she drove him to drink. I’m not going to defend her here, but I’m not going to vilify her, either. She certainly did her part in causing their divorce-no doubt. But remember, just as it takes two to make a marriage, it takes two to make a divorce as well. In other words, though one partner may be mostly to blame, the other partner wasn’t perfect, either, and did their part to destroy the marriage. You have to take into consideration that David Cassidy had alcoholism in his family (his father Jack was a well known boozer, and there were others as well). So, if you take that into consideration, “she drove him to drink” may have pushed him that way, but in the end, it was still his choice. And if it wasn’t her, he would have found a reason to drink anyway. Bottom line: it takes two to tango, in this case, divorce. I don’t know Sue Shifrin personally. I might like her, I might not. But anything I would say about her is only an opinion about what I’ve read and seen. I’m not the judge, and neither is anyone else. I understand totally why you would want to defend David. I had his pictures on my wall, too. And I still, after all these years, enjoy his music, both with and without The Partridge Family. And as I said, I don’t know Sue Shifrin personally, so I would naturally want to lean towards David. But I’m not going to vilify her just because of my preference for David. Would you want to be treated that way???!!! In the end, let’s just let her words and works speak for themselves-whether good or bad. (So let the haters start attacking me. I’ve got broad shoulders!!!)

  Wow u sure are self righteous with your opinion 1st of all sue told David she couldn't have children n when she got pregnant it was a miracle baby n I feel David with his history with his father would NEVER turn his back on his son. David said in an interview one time sue n him weren't together for 10 Years .when he was divorcing. David stayed in a loveless marriage for his beloved son

I would never suggest that someone doesn’t have the right to express their opinion, whether I agree with it or not. It shows immaturity on your part to address me in the manner that you did. I have as much right as anyone to express my opinion-and that includes you. You can disagree with me but you have no right to even insinuate that I don’t have the same right as you to express my views. If I were you, I’d find a hobby. It’s obvious that you have too much time on your hands!!!

  ​@7JANEWAY By today's rock/pop standards, the outfit it tame. In his book, David said how he liked women who were a "a bit slutty,." I wouldn't be surprised if DC picked it out for her. They were trying to appeal to a more "rock" audience, outside the regular old fans too. Also, if a man dresses without much clothes, no one cares. But women are judged by their choices everyday. It's very sexist & it's sad for another woman not to see it. I think the were happy at first but I didn't like the way Sue tried to get fans to sell her products & they would get special treatment. Opposed to the way DC used to treat all his fans kindly. But DC also changed after Vegas. He started drinking on & off, later more often & it even showed onstage. I can only imagine how it affected both Sue & Beau. The whole family tried an intervention later & sadly, it didn't work. Alcoholism is a horrible disease! When his record company went under for this 1990 lp went under as his single "Lying to Myself" was rising in the top 40 of Adult Cintwmporary & in the top 100 of regular rock, it really hit David hard. He used to Sat in every interview, "I'll never become a former teen idol who goes around singing the oldies." But after EXF then Copa flopped, that's what he did & it just killed him inside. He wasn't happy becoming an "oldies act." So he drank. Therefore, it was more than just Sue. He never had a great manager. Did you meet DC before Vegas? I did. I ran his fan club from 1980 to 1986 & later had a website for him that merged w the Australian website & became the Official Website. You're welcome to your opinion. But I knew David for years & he hated pretending he loved & had to perform those of PF songs. It killed him in the end & I'm sure it affected his marriage too.

  Самое "фирмОвое" исполнение, отлично! Нет лишней драмы и попсовости, как у Боярского или Анциферовой, настоящая легкость и то ли джаз, то ли мягкий фанк, голос ровный, летучий, офигенно для такого стиля музыки, то что надо! Никакой это не Рева, это же Траволта!.)

  Хуй вас пойми. Хороший, качественный хэви. Ну енто ХЭВИ! Это для 12-15-и летнего быдла. Хотя с высоты своих 50-и - вещица отличная. Как человек проработавший 30 лет в коллективе с женщинами - авторы слов и музыки гении! Всё так и есть! И потом. К нам все это пришло на закате. Там! ТАМ! Хэви уже был мёртв. Енто ж не прог и не новая волна. Ну не Круиз Гаины, не Мастер, не ЧК, не Август. Да и у этих 1... ну 2 приличных альбома. Дальше одно позорище и стыдоба. А кто лучше? Ария!? Да идите... со своим вскипеловым! Классные девчата! Молодцы! Т.е. ну как молодцы... Молодыци! Так вернее.

  Какие все токсичные в комментариях. А мне вот прямо понравилось это исполнение. Такой милый мальчик. Даже немного танцует . И очень красиво сделали огоньки - такое мечтательное милое видео. И очень хорошо, что песню исполняют разные певцы - песня живет. Но конечно посмотрела для сравнения современные исполнения этой песни - вот там не зашло, сразу бросается какое там уже низкое некультурное исполнительское искусство

  1979 мне только 6 лет. Песню услышала в фильме " Детектор" В душу запала. Нашла в инете сразу несколько вариантов.
