So what's the purpose of this kick? Making sure your opponent's head smashes against the floor as hard as possible ? If that's so effective as you are trying to portray , why film it in a controlled environment with slow mo opponent?

That’s kinda powerful. When my daughter was 16, I thought to have any guy that wanted to date her come out to the garage, plan was to smash a stack of bricks. Here comes the dude, my daughter is now 17, the fellow is 20. So I am talking to him, my daughter says “Dad he makes me feel safe”. Dude been doing MMA since he was 11. He would have laughed at the bricks and wanted to Roll Some plans just don’t pan out 😂

British tile vs Japanese tile? I would think there's a lot more to it than the origin of manufacturer- I know Japanese tile varies- porcelain, fire clay, terra cotta, ceramic.... British tile on the other hand- the UK makes tile?

If his arm is near the belt when performing the throw it is uke goshi, if his hand and arm are high on the back it is O goshi. To me, his entry for his bunkai allows for a couple different throws.

@andreabenecchi9419 you need to check your Japanese my friend, Mae is front, Ushiro is back. Something might be getting lost in translation here, but he's kicking to his front, not his side or his back. If you're saying he is kicking with his back leg,not his front leg.......then that would be Gyaku Mae Geri. Different styles use different terminology though.

The name in judo depends on exactly how the throw is done. If you lift them with your hip, then it is O Goshi (major hip throw). If you did the same throw from an overhook (maybe from Taikyoku Sono Ni, becaus of the jodan punch), then it would be Koshi Garuma (hip wheel). If you throw them over/with your back leg, without any lift from your hips, then it is Tai Otoshi (body drop).
