  Thank you for reporting this! There is an issue with the 19.0B5 on Windows which makes the beat detection fail. I can reproduce this on my machine and I am working on a solution. Until then, the only option is to use v18 instead of the 19 beta. In case you use both Mac and Win: It seems like only Win is affected by this issue. Cheers, Mathias

  Thank you for reporting this! There is an issue with the 19.0B5 on Windows which makes the beat detection fail. I can reproduce this on my machine and I am working on a solution. The problem is that the function of Resolve's scripting engine, which retrieves the installation path of an extension is broken is broken in the R19 beta. Therefore, BeatEdit cannot find the location where the beat detector is. Until we have a workaround, the only option is to use v18 instead of the 19 beta. "Comp Duplicates from Spreadsheets" is a ready to use tool from the Automation Blocks library for this task: docs.mamoworld.com/automation-blocks/tools-ae/compDuplicatesFromSpreadsheet If you want to learn more about writing your own, more specific tools to modify text layers etc, this tutorial will get you started: docs.mamoworld.com/automation-blocks/tutorials-ae/writeCustomTemplateTool It creates a tool to modify layers with a user interface. But instead of a user interface, you could also take the data from a csv file. You are right that this scenarios are more useful than the application shown in this video here. This is just a very basic example how to create user interfaces at all. Do make sure the video is short and not to complex, I choose a very basic example.

  is there a way to separate the beat markers and the extra markers? maybe make them different colors or hide either the beat markers or the additional markers so you can focus on one or the other?

  The only option for this is to put them on different layers. You could, for example, create sequence markers for only the normal beat markers, then deselect all normal beat markers and create extra markers as clip markers instead of sequence markers.

  Hi, I have a question: I have 100s of Markers on my timeline, and each of them has a comment as a number XY. Now I want that on my timeline, a text graphic is automatically placed at each marker point, with the text "The number is XY". Basically getting info from the marker comment, and then creating this text layer automatiicaly at each marker point. Is this possible with automation blocks? If so, please guide me briefly. Thanks

  You cannot create Pr title texts with scripts, but you can use a Ae-based Mogrt. Here is a tutorial showing a script, which adds such texts for each clip of the sequence: kzread.info/dash/bejne/mX1407izk5jcoLQ.html . In a similar way, you can loop over all markers instead of all clips and then create the texts accordingly.

  See this tutorial: kzread.info/dash/bejne/goqX1dGOfNOqiaw.html A "stabilized precomp" rig gives you a composition inside which the tracked object is not moving anymore (the entire composition is moving with the track). Therefore, inside the precomp, the head is not moving anymore and you can apply Auto Lip-Sync inside of it without the need to worry about any movements. The cool thing is that all changes you do in the stabilized precomp will automatically also be visible in the main composition.   Is it possible to import clips and place each clip at an exact time within the timeline in Adobe Premiere? For example: takeVideo1 put at 00 seconds on the timeline, takeVideo2 put at 05 seconds on the timeline, takeVideo3 put at 20 seconds on the timeline, takeVideo4 put at 33 seconds on the timeline and so on?

  Auto Lip-Sync always just "cuts a hole" in layer, so whatever other layer is below will become visible. You can put a black solid layer below the layer, to which you applied Auto Lip-Sync, for example. You can create a solid in the Ae menu Layer->New->Solid...

  Why does the ID change every time when I export all text from the selected folder? Is it possible to keep the ID the same and start from 1?

  If you open the options for the export you can choose: "If a text already has an ID: skip/replace/preserve". By default, it is set to "preserve" i.e. if you export the same text multiple times, it will always keep its original IDs. Note that if you export multiple folders of the same project the following happens: 1. Say you export folder A and it contains 20 texts - then they will obtain IDs 1-20 2. Say next you export folder B, now Text2Spreadsheet will start with ID 21 for folder B, since IDs 1-20 have already been used by folder A You cannot use the same IDs for folders A and B, since then when importing the texts later, the import would assign the same value to texts in folders A and B. It is crucial that every text in the project always has a unique ID.

  @@mamoworldcom Thanks for the reply. I have another idea: manually change the ID in the comment of the text layer so that the ID cannot be changed later when I add or delete any text. We are actually making a video in different languages. However, there is a problem with the text auto-scaling. For example, if a text is short in English but long in another language, the text size increases after importing the XML file and goes outside of the container. Is there any solution or script available?

  Hello, I was wondering... is it possible to create a new sequence from already created sequences? Also, would it be possible to specify IN OUT points of these sequences? What about if we wanted to create a sequence that has "Sequence 1, clip, sequence 2, clip, sequence 3, clip..." with IN OUT points of each item and also maybe markers on the clips so that they get inserted based on IN OUT markers? Thanks, hopefully it isn't too much trouble.

  The "Add Project Items to Sequence" block can insert any project items - no matter if it is a footage item or a sequence. To support sequences in your spreadsheet, you could, for example, annotate in an extra column (say column D) "SEQUENCE" or "CLIP" and then implement a case distinction, like - if column D has value "CLIP", consider the value in column A to be a filepath and import it - if column D has value "SEQUENCE", consider the entry in column A to be the name or path of a sequence Then you can have in column A values like "/path/to/myFile.mp4" and also something like "\binsubbin\sequenceName" to use a sequence present in your project instead of a file.

  @@SnackersZ15 Update: I just added a variant of the tool to the community libary which is called "Append Clips From Spreadsheet to Active Sequence with In and Out Point and Support to Insert Sequences.xml" It works even simpler than I described. Just put in column A either a file path or a project item path like "bin\subbin\mySequence". The tool first checks if it is a valid, existing file, and if not automatically assumes it is a project item. So no need to manually annotate in the spreadsheet which of the two it is.   Awesome video! Is there any way to adjust the automisation to that the outro overlaps a bit with the end of the video? So that the outro starts maybe 2-3 seconds before the end of the video file? (I have an outro video with transparent elements that has to lie on top of the main video

  Yes, a single instance of the "Add Project Items to Sequence" block currently inserts all three clips (intro/main/outro) into video track 1. You can simply use a second copy of that block to insert the outro separately. Then you can specify a different track for it (put it on video track 2) and insert it at a specific time.   What if I don't wish to use the Default Premiere Pro Color Presets? Adobe recently updated Premiere so that you can save your own color Presets in the Label window. But I don't see an option in your plugin to use user defined color presets. Would love to buy your plugin, can you just confirm whether or not this is possible? Thank you very much in advance, 😀

  Internally, Premiere Pro's scripting engine works with color IDs: Violet is 0, Iris is 1, Caribbean is 2 etc. Now with Automation Blocks, you can set a label color either to the number 2, or to the text "Carribean" and in both cases it will internally ask Premiere Pro to set it to the second configured label color - no matter which actual color it is. In other words: Also if you configured different label colors, the Automation Blocks tool will show the default label names. But it will correctly set the other colors, you've configured.

  I wanted to do something similar but probably even easier. I just wanted to disable (or delete) the auto reframe effect (or toggle on the motion effect) which ever is easier. How would I do that? I just got the trial to see if it would be possible and searched through the forums but I don't see anything about toggling on/off effects

  As far as I know, the scripting API of Pr has no documented functions to enable/disable effects. For adding effects in the meantime we found some inofficial QE-dom functions, which you can now also use in Automation Blocks (see docs.mamoworld.com/automation-blocks/block-reference/prOther#clip-apply-effect), but I am not aware of a similar workaround to enable/disable effects.

  For those who don't want to pay $50, do this: 1. Calculate the BPM manually by tapping with the song's beat on a website online. 2. Go to Edit, zoom the timeline to exactly match the start of the song. Should be pretty easy. Now note the time and you're ready! Cheers.

  Then you have to change the block code such that it first creates a sequence only for the main file. Then insert in V2 the intro clip at time 0 and the outro clip at time (duration of main clip - duration of outro).

  Um... THANK YOU. Is there a way to extract the transcripts apart of the still images? That way I could have, let's say, a man speaking about a car's engine. The image would show what he's saying (in text) while the engine is being shown? Thanks!
