    Indeed. It has both pros and cons. Gotta be careful with the cons

    It's a mint and super aggressive. Peppermint not as aggressive of all the mints.

    Only plant in pots as lemon balm will take over any area you plant in the ground

    True, just like mint

    Don't do it! I planted an couple of innocent-looking lemon balm plants in my garden one year and it eventually took over my yard. At least it smells good.

    That’s why you only grow it in pots

    Not necessary. Just stick pieces in the ground and pretty soon you’ll only have mint in your garden.

    Do not plant mint in the ground! Plant in pots only. It's considered "invasive" and will send out runners everywhere if planted in the ground

    I took a grocery store rosemary plant and replanted it in the flower bed out front. I have never done anything to it. I have never brought it in during winter, nor fed it nor trimmed it. Its now 6-8 ft in diameter and 4' high, at least. If I cut a decent sized spig for cooking twice a week....i wouldn't make a dent in it. Its not complicated.

    That is so awesome! What region are you located, if you don't mind? Some winters are harsher than others, I think. But it's good to hear you have so much success!

    Someone needs to look up the definition of the word "hack." These aren't hacks, they are just common sense gardening tips.

    It really depends on the audience. Some might not see it as common. I try to approach it from the very basics

    Ladybugs are a good sign for your plants, maybe you need to find out about pests and good bug's before wanting to get rid of them

  • @theleafLegends
    @theleafLegends24 күн бұрын

    Absolutely correct! Ladybugs are helpful to eat smaller pests. There is a small population that has ladybug allergies as well.

    They are actually called seed potatoes. Not a seed by usual definition, but a potato that has sprouted.
