I'm starting my new vlogging adventure.

Nice to have you here. It's a good channel if you want nature videos, travel videos, music ones and my commentary about life/current events. If you want to learn English, this is a good place to be, too. If you wanna get smarter, healthier... or just calm down and relax for a few minutes sometimes.

I've written two books and I'll never cease to encourage you to read them. Illogical Species and The Damn World are their titles. I'm currently writing a third book, this time, on the subject of education.

Cheers! (I don't drink... but I like this expression?)

See ya!!!

Why didn't they hire a native English speaker? Cost optimization or what? What a shame ('the ball of fire', 'wirczual ticzer')... and waste of time and money. Good luck on your future endeavours!

Chyba sie politykom juz całkiem popaprało we łbach. Na słabym organizmie pasożyt żeruje, ale gdyby go wzmocnić to same uciekną

What did Greta have to say about Putin, using children & teenagers in his own interest & how that deserves only to be condemned, as demonstrated at the beginning of his War against Ukraine, When Vladimir Putin & Maria Lvova-Belova, kidnapped thousands of children & teenagers from schools & families in Ukraine, They stated that they were going to a Summer Camp for a few weeks, then they paraded them onto a stage, after telling them that they were being saved, Then it turns out that they were sent to a Russian Re-Education Camp & the children were told that they cannot go back to Ukraine to their families, as their parents, family, friends & Ukraine no longer exist, as everything has been destroyed, That they are orphans and are better off staying with Russian families that will love them & give them new homes, Which these Russian families were being paid a lot of money from the Russian government as a bribe to adopt them, Whilst being held in these Camps, anything that the children had brought into the camps in Russia or Russian controlled areas of Ukraine, to remind them of their home in Ukraine, their parents, families & friends, were taken off them, they wasn’t even allowed any contact with their families in Ukraine, They was made to sing the Russian National Anthem every morning, instead of the Ukrainian National Anthem, they had to learn to read & write in Russian, not Ukrainian, they had to speak Russian, instead of their native language of Ukrainian, they were taught that only the History of Russia exists, because Ukraine is part of Russia & Ukraine was never a country, that everything they learned from Ukrainian history is a lie, (Kyiv was formed into a Kyivan Dynasty as early as the mid-9th Century & was the capital of The Kingdom of Ruthenia, dating it’s history back to the 5th - 3rd millennium BCE, The formation of the Kyivan state that began in the mid-9th century, the role of the Varangians (Vikings) in this process, and the name Rus by which this state came to be known are all matters of controversy among historians. It is clear, however, that this formation was connected with developments in international trade and the new prominence of the Dnieper route from the Baltic to Byzantium, on which Kyiv was strategically sited. Trade along this route was controlled by Varangian merchant-warriors, and from their ranks came the progenitors of the Kyivan princes, who were, however, soon Slavicized. In the early chronicles the Varangians were also called Rus, and this corporate name became a territorial designation for the Kyivan region-the basic territory of the Rus; later, by extension, it was applied to the entire territory ruled by members of the Kyivan dynasty. By the end of the 10th century, the Kyivan domain covered a vast area from the edge of the open steppe in Ukraine as far north as Lake Ladoga and the upper Volga basin. Like other medieval states, it did not develop central political institutions but remained a loose aggregation of principalities ruling what was a dynastic clan enterprise. Kyiv reached its apogee in the reigns of Volodymyr the Great (Vladimir I) and his son Yaroslav I (the Wise). In 988 Volodymyr adopted Christianity as the religion of his realm and had the inhabitants of Kyiv baptized. Rus entered the orbit of Byzantine (later, Orthodox) Christianity and culture. A church hierarchy was established, headed (at least since 1037) by the metropolitan of Kyiv, who was usually appointed by the patriarch of Constantinople. With the new religion came new forms of architecture, art, and music, a written language (Old Church Slavonic), and the beginnings of a literary culture. All these were vigorously promoted by Yaroslav, who also promulgated a code of laws, the first in Slavdom. Although Byzantium and the steppe remained his main preoccupations in external policy, Yaroslav maintained friendly relations with European rulers, with whom he established marital alliances for his progeny. Following Yaroslav’s death, Kyiv entered a long period of decline, only briefly stemmed in the 12th century under Volodymyr II Monomakh (Vladimir II Monomakh). Shifts in trade routes undermined Kyiv’s economic importance, while warfare with the Polovtsians in the steppe sapped its wealth and energies. Succession struggles and princely rivalries eroded Kyiv’s political hegemony. The ascendancy of new centres and the clustering of principalities around them reflected regional cleavages-historical, economic, and tribal ethnic-that had persisted even in the period of Kyiv’s predominance. These differences were accentuated by the Mongol-Tatar invasions that began in the 1220s and culminated in the devastating sack of Kyiv in 1240. The territory that largely coincides with modern Belarus, with Polotsk as the most important centre, was one such emerging region. The land of Novgorod to its north was another. In the northeast, Vladimir-Suzdal (and later Moscow) formed the core from which developed the future Russian state (see also Grand Principality of Moscow). On Ukrainian territory, in the southwestern part of Rus, Galicia-Volhynia emerged as the leading principality. Volodymyr (modern Volodymyr-Volynskyy) in Volhynia had been an important princely seat in Kyivan Rus, and Galicia, with its seat at Halych, on the Dniester River, became a principality in the 12th century. In 1199 the two principalities were united by Prince Roman Mstyslavych to form a powerful and rich state that at times included the domains of Kyiv. Galicia-Volhynia reached its highest eminence under Roman’s son Danylo (Daniel Romanovich). New cities were founded, most importantly Lviv; trade-especially with Poland and Hungary, as well as Byzantium-brought considerable prosperity; and culture flourished, with marked new influences from the West.) (Moscow was only developed as a Principality in the second half of the 13th Century, as it was then known as “Muscovy”, Grand Principality of Moscow, also called Muscovy, Russian Moskovskoye Velikoye Knazhestvo, medieval principality that, under the leadership of a branch of the Rurik dynasty, was transformed from a small settlement in the Rostov-Suzdal principality into the dominant political unit in northeastern Russia. Muscovy became a distinct principality during the second half of the 13th century under the rule of Daniel, the youngest son of the Rurik prince Alexander Nevsky. Located in the midst of forests and at the intersection of important trade routes, it was well protected from invasion and well situated for lucrative commerce. In 1326 it became the permanent residence of the Russian metropolitan of the Orthodox church. Muscovy attracted many inhabitants, and its princes collected large revenues in customs and taxes. After a short period of rivalry with the princes of Tver during the reign of Prince Daniel’s son Yury (d. 1326), the princes of Muscovy received the title of grand prince of Vladimir from their Tatar overlords (1328). That title enabled them to collect the Russian tribute for the Tatar khan and, thereby, to strengthen the financial and political position of their domain. The Muscovite princes also pursued a policy of “gathering the Russian lands.” Yury extended his principality to include almost the entire Moscow basin; and Ivan I (Ivan Kalita, reigned 1328-40), followed by his sons Semyon (reigned 1341-53) and Ivan II (reigned 1353-59), purchased more territory. Dmitry Donskoy (reigned as prince of Moscow from 1359, grand prince of Vladimir 1362-89) increased his holdings by conquest; he also won a symbolically important victory over the Tatars (Battle of Kulikovo, 1380). Dmitry’s successors Vasily I (reigned 1389-1425) and Vasily II (reigned 1425-62) continued to enlarge and strengthen Moscow despite a bitter civil war during the latter’s reign. Ivan III (reigned 1462-1505) completed the unification of the Great Russian lands, incorporating Ryazan, Yaroslavl (1463), Rostov (northwest of Vladimir and southeast of Yaroslavl; 1474), Tver (1485), and Novgorod (1478) into the Muscovite principality. By the end of Ivan’s reign, the prince of Moscow was, in fact, the ruler of Russia proper.) Only when the parents went through the proper channels to find out where their children was being kept, by going to approved organisations, which were able to locate them, they were told that only the mothers of the children are able to go and collect them, otherwise they will be adopted, Which means that they would be given new Russian passports, with the surname of the Russian family that they were being adopted by, 🤔
