  na een eerdere reis met de Steady rond de Hebriden , en na enkele zeilreizen met andere schepen, die niet altijd geslaagd waren, heb ik een lange reis geboekt. niet alleen omdat Jan-Willem en Marielle heel kundige zeezeilers zijn, maar ook omdat ze gewoon lief zijn. De start in Medemblik NL naar Dover, Falmouth, Belfast en als laatste Orban , met alle tussen liggende stops was zeer geslaagd. De Steady doet zijn naam eer aan, omdat nergens iets te merken was van enige tijdsdruk, ivm schema's b.v. Mede ook de solide bouw van het schip, het prettige interieur, en het uitstekende eten aan boord zijn de beste ingredienten voor een zeer geslaagde reis. Marielle en Jan-Willem nog hartstikke bedankt voor alles.

  when my father retired he became a nature photographer ...including a trip on a Russian trawler to Svalbard to photograph the polar bears (thank you for the memory)

  Just retrurned from a sail on Maybe from Falmouth to Fowey and back - had an excellant time, met an excellant crew and company. Worth every penny.

  I will be looking forward to seeing this boat race the Tally Ho when Leo Goolden finishes restoring it. I just saw him finish the deck strakes (beautiful Alaskan Yellow Cedar) and a month earlier fitting his new 8 ton ballast keel which is 3 tons heavier than the original. I think he'll be able to put on enough sail to beat you!
