You’ve done a wonderful job of describing this easy but counterintuitive method. Brava!
Thank you re threading worked.
Thank you so much for sharing these tips. Could you please teach us how to measure the size of the cloth necessary for a set length and width of biais tape, reminding us of the maths formula?
I love scrappy quilts❤
Thank you very much. Cheers Janice.
Jan, you are so creative and helpful. Thanks for sharing your videos and skills. I recently made a baby blanket and bibs for a baby shower-wish I could show you a pic here. Again, thanks.
i just got a duvet 120 x 120 ....and a cover.... i just don't even want to try getting the cover on ...lol
This video was awesome!!! Thank you for making this not intimidating!!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have been piecing bias tape together for years. I will never do bias tape like that again. 🎉
I did not know that foot was for the button. CRAZY 😊
I realize this is an older video but commenting anyway. Since this is a simple pattern, would have been better to show cutting measurements. Not everyone has the equipment to download patterns.
Thank you, thank you so much!!! Save me money buying a new one!!
Help, I bought the overcast foot but apparently my sewing machine has the stitch #15 with the straight stitch to the right instead of the left! So the foot does not work and I have not seen one that could work for the other side. My machine model is singer m3305. Anyone know if this is normal or what could I do about it?
I love this tutorial! Great tips too!
Great tutorial !! You make it very easy to follow👍
Jan, really good video about placing , and cutting out a pattern. Great instruction, information about how to lengthen, or shorten the pant leg. ( I always have had to shorten mine.) You even show how to measure to the selvage line, to make sure the grainline is straight. I learned these skills from my mother and I appreciate you still teaching the "right" way. (they way I was taught, anyway!)Many of the videos I have watched cut the notches into the seamline, rather than outward? One more tip learned from Mom- when you are sewing the "hole" left for the elastic. add a piece of ribbon or some type of tag to identify the back of the pants. Makes it much easier when you are putting them on.
Where can i get the printable pattern for reversable bib
How can i get the Reversable bib pattern
Too much talking😢
I think your video provides the best instructions for making this blanket and I have watched many. I shared it with my granddaughter who has been making baby gifts for friends. Thank you.
Great video!!!
6:23 I have an Apple iPad only. I’m not sure I will be able to download Adobe. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Can't wait to try this, tyvm 🩷
This was the easiest simple zipper pouch tutorial to follow.
Thank you for a great master class, Jan! Great video & you saved my time! ❤

I love this tutorial, thanks dear for showing us how to make it
Hello. I am a beginner on sewing, I don't know much about it. I'm trying to sew a piece of fleece but I can't seem to able to do it. The fabric I worked with before was linen, very fine and thin and it was all good. But now with fleece, the machine can never pick the bobbin thread, I can't for the life in me sew anything, the needle simply moves up and down and eventually the line comes off it, not doing any stitches. I am wondering if there is something wrong with the needle? Or wrong needle? Or wrong settings? Or with the machine (it's an old second hand Singer Genie 354). Thank you
I love your videos and your personality especially
This is first time watcher I enjoy everything from starting to end video interesting ❤❤
Thank you Jan! What a great tip.
Love the pattern and will make one for my traveling sewing machine. Please clarify the cut size of the batting for the pocket. The video states 12x6” but the length of the pocket is 21”. I appreciate your sewing style, organization and neatness while sewing and the finished project.
After hydration and insertion the material is pretty wet, I’m worried my machine may get water inside while sewing. Do you let them dry out for a while before machine sewing?
This will help a lot. Thanks!
Glad it helped!
I’ve decided I’m not intelligent enough to own a duvet and cover.
lol
Thanks for taking a large size dress away from a plus size person. Use thrifted not new. Selfish

Jan I REALLY like your tutorial for the caddy
Thank you so much! First time watch your video, love the clear instructions and tips!
Janthis is genius. Today's Quote: ""Kindness is giving hope to those who think they are all alone in this world". I have a question , i have a dress made of t-shirt material. It was ripped in the front a rip about the size of a dime. Will this method work for that?Huge hugs. Namesta 🐞🐞🐞
When you sew the labels into your project seam allowance do you have to use fray check on the fraying end beforehand or no?
