Omar has had to weather being marginalized his whole life outside of his home country. I felt his trauma in this fantastic video. He is brave and resilient. Omar, you shine bright like a diamond. You’re also magnetic like an actual magnetic stone. All the good and bad in people will bombard you, being so drawn to your magnificence. Find ppl that will be guardians of your solitude. Stay away from emotional vampires they just want to feed off your brilliance. I am rooting for you all the way over here in Portland, Oregon, USA. Love, love, love. Singing seems so important to him, so he should get some advice/coaching to improve it. On everything else (dancing, acting, presentation, etc) he is already the best, in a class of his own. I want him to have a good education. He is so sweet and generous; he deserves every good thing life can offer.

I discovered him from young Royals. I’m so glad I researched him too because he is so talented. I love his singing and his acting too. I’m so glad the creators from young Royals casted him to play Simon because he was meant to play Simon. I can’t imagine anyone else playing the part. And it’s hard to believe it’s his first time acting too. I’m happy for Omar because I believe young Royals gave him the recognition he needed so more people know about him. If it hadn’t been for YR I would’ve never known who he was especially because he’s from Sweden. I wish Omar all the success in the world because he definitely deserves it. Omar is talented and beautiful ♥️

I’m afraid it might take a while before he becomes really big with his song. He really does have everything. Voice, looks, can act, can dance, stage present. He might need to work a bit more on his interviews. Because of his shyness(he needs to warm up) he might come off uninterested (he mentioned this before). His video’s and clothing style are not conventional. Which makes it a bit hard to serve the Swedish public. And him singing in Spanish might only work in Latin America. Even though he has not come out. He hints of being part of the queer community. And that might have to do with his videos and clothing style.

Totally agree, I speak and know english, but I really dont listen to it. I listen more into Spanish my 1st language and when I heard Omar sing he got me. On all ♡♡♡ language he speaks and sings, even though I dont understand one of theme.

This was a really beautiful interview. I love how open Omar is to sharing the struggles t/o his life and the perseverance he has had is inspiring. I love the relationship shown with his Mom, and that she’s always put him as a priority. Such a great Mom! There’s a lot that reminds me of my own relationship with my son. The cruelty of kids saddens me, but Omar’s big heart is so clear that that brings tears to my eyes as well. So much love.
