  Love your videos! My daughter starts at UTMB in May. I hear that nursing students work 7 days a week! Do you ever have a full weekend off or are the only full days off the designated ones (Aug., Dec etc)?

  Congrats to her for starting this new journey!! 😊 I don’t remember which semesters but I did have some where I was able to have a weekend off because of my clinical day/ placement. While school took most of my time I liked having weekends off to be home with family :)

  Thank you for sharing! Happy nurses week! Question Normally do UTMB students live in Galveston? I am planning on applying to UTMB but I live in Houston is that doable? I plan to be going back and forth but I’m not sure if that will be a lot. Any tips you can give me please?

  So sorry to hear you guys complain deeply of failing the exam.But I will assure you that Nclex exam won't be a problem to you anymore,if you work with someone like Mrs Maria Maddison.

  After using uworld twice and failing, I never knew i could ever pass the NCLEX but today I am very happy, I just passed my NCLEX on my third attempt with a great help from Mrs Maria Maddison.

  (I’m a little bias haha) BUT it’s definitely a good program :) it’s accelerated & can be overwhelming at times but coming out I feel pretty prepared now that I started residency! & i believe utmb has a 100% NCLEX pass rate right now which is reassuring

  I’ve been doing online for so long and I’m going to start nursing in person soon. I’m so nervous and I’m extremely dumb, would I need chemistry knowledge in class? Is nursing school manageable or do I have to be very smart. Oh god I’m nervous but I love your video for being real

  Gosh I graduated 35 + years ago. I wish we could have had this when I started. Nothing is the same as when I started. We went to Nursing schools at hospitals. Graduated with diplomas(Hats and pins ceremonies.) then went on to get a BSN if we wanted. We learned on the clinical side more than the class room. Good luck there is never enough nurses.

  Haha I agree it is very different! My mom went through nursing school before me and always remind me of the changes. I love learning in the clinical setting more even though at times COVID didnt allow us. My orientation and white coat ceremony was even online too! Looking forward to learning as much as I can as a new grad now :)
