    Could someone tell me why the one finger in one hand? Is this a gang sign thing or actually functional

  • @BoFaat
    @BoFaat7 күн бұрын

    Try to do this; extend your arms , bend your wrist to a 90 degree angle and hold that hand shape , after a while you should feel a burning sensation in the the tendoms and muscles of your forearm.... theres a lot of meanings to the handshape ,besides from exercise; one is, from old times it says when every ming patriot would raise one finger we could defeat the the qings... and restore the ming dynasty....

    Your using the tiger style to lead your attack, in fact you'll never get to my vital point. You fought well Atreides. 👍 Good kung fu.

    The man that claims horse stance is a BULLSHI+ stance

  • @BoFaat
    @BoFaatАй бұрын

    I dont think so, I remember that he talked about some people that put more importance on low stances just to completely lose structure...like the butt is lower than the knees, butt sticks out, feet are further apart than the knees, toes turned outwards etc oppose to a technically correct horse stance...

    @@BoFaat Thanks for responding to my comment! I sent a link to this video to my instructor and he identified it as Hung Gar (Butterfly Palm). I watched the full video and I can see that it is the very end of the set. I started practicing Hung Gar a few months ago. I first learned Jing Jueng and am now learning Gung Gee Fook Fu Kuen. Your demonstration video of that set with narration has been very helpful! It is sharp, concise, and we'll executed! I really appreciate your hospitality and open sharing.

    Awesome old video. Thank you for sharing. This video would have been mid to later 70's.I studied under Sifu Rivera from early 80-84 in NC and this was taken before that. Sure wish I had kept up my practice. He always told us great stories about the Philippines. Hard to quantify the impact he made on lives around the world his entire life. RIP Sifu.
