Honestly that's the best sounding cfmoto 450 with a mod exhaust, usually they sound so crappy but your's sounds really good , how much did you spend on the mods ?? I am planning on purchasing one this yeat
Well, the exhaust was like 140 and the DNA Stage 2 kit was 130. But when I bought the stage 2, was a lot more. Like 200+
How much power it produce after stage 2 ???
I'm not too sure. I never got the bike on a dyno. But I definitely can feel the power delivery better now taking off and getting up to speeds. It feels peppier. My friend also agreed because he got to ride it before and after I installed the stage 2 intake and exhaust. He says it was an improvement from stock and he could feel the difference.
Without an ECU flash, likely lost power.

Can you please tell me how you removed the stem close nut to install quad lock mobile holder?
I did not remove the stem nut. If you do remove it, the stem piece from quad lock doesn't fit. You would have to fabricate the nut. I just used the one that goes around the handlebar. I put it around the opening to the left of the stem nut using the rubber adapters they provide. Then just position the lock over the stem nut so I can see my phone.

DNA is an air filter company based out of Greece. Kinda like a K&N filter. Yeah, kind of funny it has the winglets on it. But they say above 70mph it applies 1.6 downforce. I tell you at 120mph, it is planted as hell. Feels like you are on rails. And as for pile of shit, only time will tell 🤣🤣🤣

I am enjoying the bike. It is a blast to ride. I got it when it first came out and just getting an oil filter was a pain. So I ordered 3. I'm about to change the oil here shortly so I will find out how easy to get now. Changing the oil is easy. Don't have to take off any fairings. For the oil filter, I just put a small aluminum 1 time use pan under it to take out. Probably will order 3 again. My DNA Stage 2 air filter setup didn't take too long from Greece. The exhaust was from eBay. And all the other little stuff was from Ali Express. As far as other mechanical stuff, never had a problem. Over 4k miles now and have no problems. And I ride it pretty hard. The only thing that sucks is that the insurance is expensive. They are treating it like a 636 or a 1000 sports bike. Mine is paid off so I have the bare minimum on it. Full coverage is crazy $ here in FL. So if anything happens to the bike, comes out of my pocket. Hope that answers any questions. If you have more, just ask away. 😊

Really quick? I have a question about the 450ss. I’ve seen in in-person reviews, the area on the middle/bottom of the bike that says SS is completely white yet on websites it looks grey with an ‘SS’ logo on it, how can you tell when you buy one? I’m someone who’s in their first year of college and an aspiring rider, please lmk 🙏🏽 and thank you, congrats on the bike!
If you are talking about the big SS on the fairing, on mine (2023) it is grey lines that make the SS and the inside is black. The fairing itself is black. The SS is just a sticker and I removed mine. Looks cleaner. As for the white one (2023), it is also a black fairing with the grey lines that make the SS with the inside black. In the new 2024, they did away with the big SS and now have a small 450SS on it. Hope this answers your question. Hope you get to get on 2 wheels soon. It's a blast.

I was doing a lot of research on the company bc Chinese bikes aren’t the best but they have some good rep under them, they helped build or built the Kawasaki 650 engine and had hand in the KTM 700 they are also now only GOOD Chinese bike esp for the price, once the brand has a rep it won’t be long until prices go up

I don't get bored of it. It has the perfect amount of power for riding around town. Even on the twisting roads, a blast. It's fun using all its power on the streets. Like on a 600, you can do everything in first and second. Only fun on the highway or track. That is why I got this bike. I have an MT-07 and I feel I can't use all its power on the streets without getting in trouble if caught. Don't get me wrong, I can get in trouble on the 450ss also. But to me, just more fun on the roads. As they say, it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than ride a fast bike slow. Like my grom, so much fun ringing that thing out. Hope that helped you.

@@grampsaggyballs they make the ninja h2 exhaust. I think it was the best h2 exhaust out there. And they also makes dual exhaust for cfmoto 450 weight 9.1kg over the stock 11kg something. While the single exhaust system weight 4.1kg it's super light
Im happy that people like this bike but you guys wait and see when cfmoto bring the 450sr to usa its the best.. Single sided swing arm wit traction control and there is alot on the sr that you can change to suit your style.

Nope, db killer is out. With it in, it is even quieter. Definitely not as loud as my MT-07 with the full M4 exhaust system on. 😂 I always think videos don't do exhaust notes justice. It is loud, but not overbearing. Definitely tamed though.

they've been making quad and side by side motors for decades (and you know how people absolutely thrash those) and they also produce some of the engines for KTM

This is got more power than the 400, has way more features, better price, 270 crank means sounds way better than the 180 crank on Ninja 400. I have 700 miles on mine.....best bike over all.
I bought this over the N400 because I have a Naked bike already(MT-07). I have almost 3k miles on it. So far no issues. The only one I can think of is getting an oil filter for it when it first came out. Don't know how it is now. But when I order, I buy 3 at a time so I have them on hand. The bike is fantastic. I have so much fun with it. You can use all the power and ring it out on the street. I never thought I would like the sitting position. But not too bad. Well, I am 6'2 and fit well on it. For me, the only thing I don't like is that the rear sets are a little high. They are higher than my friend's 600rr. But can be switched out. And the oil change is every 2.4k on it. So definitely learn how to do it so you are not paying the stealership big $$ to do it. It is a great beginner bike or in my case, just a fun bike with someone who has experience. I don't see myself getting rid of this bike anytime soon. It's so much fun and such a beautiful bike. Hope this kind of helped. If you have any other questions, ask away brother.

To me with the butt Dyno, it increased the power with that and the aftermarket exhaust. Seams to pick up faster. Little more pep in its step.

You can switch the standard shifting to the GP Shift by moving the push rod to the forward position on the gear shift levers
Way back in the day, I used to take the Sawgrass Expressway to commute on my Fizzer to work. Back then there were no cars on the Sawgrass so it wasn't uncommon for me to cruise at a buck forty for some sections. Whenever I'd come up on the rare cager, I'd slow down to about 90 to not startle them. I was always impressed how dropping from 140 to 90 felt like doing 45. 😁
