on android phones, you can download melonds (the emulator I'm using) on google play. the english patch I used can be downloaded at www.precisemuseum.com/ you can then patch a rom of puyo puyo 20th using a patcher of your choice (I just use uni-patcher on android, which is also available on google play) i can't say how to download the actual rom of the game, since the easiest method of getting a rom is pretty illegal, but if you're still trying to find one, remember to use a vpn

if for some reason the youtube algorithm gods decide to show this to people who know nothing about puyo, here's a quick summary: puyo puyo is a japanese puzzle game spinoff of a dungeon crawler game called madou monogatari you do not need to know anything about madou in order to enjoy puyo puyo compile (the company that originally made madou and puyo) went bankrupt, and gave the rights for puyo puyo to sega, but not madou monogatari, so sega is only able to use madou characters who have appeared in puyo games, or make their own puyo characters in 2003, sega created puyo puyo fever, which was basically a reboot of puyo puyo. people hated the english localization of the game, so sega decided to not localize any more puyo games there were several puyo games released after fever, such as fever 2, 15th anniversary, 20th anniversary, puyo puyo tetris, and much more in 2017, sega realized how big the western puyo fandom was, and decided to localize puyo puyo tetris, followed by 2 more games that also got localized, puyo puyo champions, and puyo puyo tetris 2. compile's successor company, compile heart, released a new madou monogatari game in 2013, with an english localization, which was called Sorcery Saga: Curse of the great curry god. The game featured none of the original madou characters, since sega owned the rights to them, and is a mystery dungeon game (unrelated but please play pokemon mystery dungeon explorers if sky, trust me), unlike the other madou games. it is available on steam at store.steampowered.com/app/836760/Sorcery_Saga_Curse_of_the_Great_Curry_God/ Please buy puyo puyo tetris, puyo puyo tetris 2, and puyo puyo champions to show sega that we want more puyo games localized
