Your comment was automatically flagged down by youtube and it wont appear unless i approve it and i just did so i can say this to you for you and everyone else to read it. Considering that you commented that, i assume you want everyone to read that as well right? So ok, i want everyone else to read my response to you as well. I dont get why people like you feel the need to use profanity and insult someone. I dont recall insulting any of you or calling any of you names in any of my videos. I even said: if you want to install one fine if you dont fine as well. Its upto you. So why insult me? Just because you didnt like what you see? I never forced you to watch my video. You went here on your own accord. So why the profanity? You feel like a tough guy doing so? Insulting people online who has done no wrong to you? Wherein you know youre safe! I bet you lack the balls to do that in person. I bet you were a coward and was just bullied when you were young and was too afraid to stand up for yourself So now your idea of bravery is going online on social media and insult people who has done nothing to you. Which makes you pathetic really. Which makes you an even bigger coward now. And by the way i made this follow up video for people like you who apparently is too slow for reason of having a brain the size of a peanut who cannot follow an explanation kzread.info/dash/bejne/pIGuqK-ceNWnqbg.htmlsi=Mo9eOwF3IgvuruPO Have a nice day mister tough guy.

Wow what a great video explanation for both diesel and gas! My Volkswagen Jetta 2001 TDI (the ALH diesel engine) has a pcv valve on it on it btw. One of the most efficient and reliable engines ever made by VW probably. It’s definitely a valve though, I’ve taken it apart and there’s a membrane in there to make sure air only flows in one direction. It connects from the valve cover to the intake after the turbo compressor but before the intercooler. My guess as to why they thought it was needed on the diesel is because the boost pressures can fluctuate between positive and negative pressure depending on the RPM and if it’s in limp mode.

A couple of questions. When the Egr is open, will the mass airflow sensor read less airflow and therfore inject less fuel. I view the opened Egr in effect as a vacuum leak. If thats the case, wouldnt you feel a sudden power drop when the Egr opens ?

Love the explanation, but air separator is not the same. There are oil catch cans with pressure relief valves so that they don't damage the engine. Your air separator does not have that.

Thank you sir for another public utility video! There are very few oil additives that can help engines to run smooth and / or a little more efficiently. Those are usually not cheap, quality has its price. Even so, people must know that even those that should work, have false / pirate versions. To be safe, use only manufacturer approved / recomended products and from a safe source. Mixing strange products with the engine oil may result in a clogged oil line that would lead to catastrophic damage. Sir, in your country there are more than one kind of diesel available? In my country we have mainly two versions: S500 and S10 Being the 500 and 10 the sulfur ppm number. Ive seen lots of people recomending for older engines like 4d56 the usage of S500 only and to mix like 1 liter of engine oil for each full tank of diesel in order to keep injection pump and injectors lubricated. People say that the sulfur in the diesel should act like the lubricant for those parts, and the leak of sulfur in modern diesel would drastically reduce the life span of those parts, causing premature failure. Is there the same problem in your country? Thank you!

I personally am not convinced but to each his own. I made my own high flow catch can based on research papers I found online and it has been great at keeping my intake manifold completely clear of oil that previously mixed with EGR gases and created a mess.
