Whats interesting is, the Home depot box, you can find it at aldi (seasonal iirc so not always available) and its the exact same except color is different and where the HDX logo sticker on the case is blank on the aldi one.

Yup I have also see it other places without the HDX logo, also more expensive than what home depot sells them for.

2 sheets of plywood, hopscotch the box onto each sheet as you alternate laying them down. Moved a few boxes over rough terrain this way.

Great vid! I personally have begun to lean more toward ones with individual removable containers, I've got quite a few of the Stanleys and they have been great. They're also great for storing my Magic card collection as well. Lol. I've got a few Huskys and have been happy with them as well.

If you look around the large metal boxes last years but they used to cost me about 30 bucks each. You can also get a cabnit for them like the Walmart plastic one you've got. I bought mine at electronics store that sells electronic parts. But I used them for connectors and put them in my car with my tools I did mobile electronics out of my car and full time in a retail store. The plastic mDX brand i changed to them becuse a lot of the time thd metal cases were inside the car and not the trunk, the metals sharp and will dammage a cars interior the plastic not as bad. Milwalkie makes a large roll around set you can build on that looks like it will.last years. The small plastic one with flap type latches that brake the lid falls off they get very dirty but I used them at work they will last a few years and its not to big and bulky. Trip over one you see why bigger isn't always better. And you'll think about it as you pick up 2k butt splices and t taps as well as screws. Shit Flys all over the shop. www.zoro.com/durham-mfg-steel-compartment-box-gray-202-95-d919/i/G0242295/ many different brands Fastnal has a system you can buy, somone had an old set on craigs list but he was asking 2 times retail for it. Drawer Cabinet, 11-3/4x15-1/4x16-3/8 In You can always make one out of wood even scrap wood and use draw slide or just dividers and soap the sides so they slide. This one takes the cake. kzread.info/dash/bejne/m3h-j5udqbSah7w.html

I haven't had any issues yet, but it has been a concern of mine, as we do get pretty humid here in WI too. I think what is helping me is this is for my side hustle, so my tools don't sit out heat everyday. I am decently busy with jobs i can do in my shop so I haven't been out and about doing handyman type of work for awhile now.

Keter is contracted by DeWalt, Milwaukee, Craftsman, and Ridgid to make their stackable storage systems. Tstack, Versastack, tough system, packout, all made by keter. Pelican probably makes the best cases but who has that kind of money.

@@mostlymoparih5682 Smoothest gliding track you can get. They are fairly adjustable to make them fit like butter. Soft closing was the biggest deal when they came out, but they have figured out how to add soft closing to most other track designs now. They allow you to have a slightly bigger drawer but its only by 3/8 of an inch so I dunno if that is advantage or not. Tracks are underneath so you don't see them and they are harder to get dirt and debris in them.
