Welcome to Number 27 !
I'm dedicated to proving that even a perfectly ordinary middle aged idiot, with no journalistic experience can try to live the dream and drive cool cars as much as possible.
Hope you enjoy the videos and if you manage to live vicariously through me I'll have achieved my goal!!

lime for sure
It's not great looking, maybe that has something to do with it
I think the burgundy color really highlights the shape of the car, but that's just me.
Original lime. The others date the car.
Blue.
Just K--Swap it 😜
While I understand the reason folks are saying stick with the original factory lime green, Pantera's are not Countach's. Most have been modified in a way that you simply don't find with vintage Ferrari's and Lamborghini's. It's so common place that it's practically acceptable, almost expected. These cars, while getting rarer and more expensive are not likely to reach the stratospheric prices commanded by other brands. So in my opinion, a change of color, particularly a period correct one is not going to affect the value. Besides, the quality of paint is far superior than was applied at the time. Most restorations are overly restored.
Love the blue
Turquoise, as it looks, like a speedboat. It should stand out and not harmonize, e.g. w/ greenery. --MArch.
Piss those ugly wheels off, they’re awful. The Septics have no taste.
LIME! And probably the Miura LIME! It seems to be a little brighter! Great to see the car in the UK!
Its got to be the lime colour, it just suits the car , makes it pop. So excited for this project, good luck with it 😃
16:32 Hmm made 1973, Solid 1975, sounds about right for an Oil Crisis car, honestly a detomaso isnt that attractive of a car, if I were you I'd GTS it with the big body kits, blacked out bright work in bright orange with black accents like the 308, change the interior to tan, keep the motor hotrodded, with a deep baffled oil pan with the pickup done right to keep the thing lubed properly, throw on the countach wing and have fun as its never been that cool of a car to me, for years these always seemed like cheap fiberglass knock off cars, kinda like the Manta from gone in 60 seconds and they were always right basket cases and nightmares to keep right thanks to the oil system not being set up right, like you really should have just kept the ferrari and supercharged if it was down on power for your liking as your going to find that you really want to keep that motor running up high, which was the problem with these, the motor could never keep up with the body, or what people thought it should do as these were the Fiat X1/9's of the era, slow broken, and always perpetually breaking down and the X1/9 had better interior space, and a better looking interior to boot too. as it is what it is, a cheap man's countach that only through restomodding is finally doing what was promised of it 45 years latter as the worst thing you can do for it, is be modest about it, the black and evil chrome look however did really work for it but it still needed the countach look wing on it, like either GTS it in orange with a new interior, or keep it black, with a countach wing with the larger halibrand knock off's on it, that look way better than the stupid pie cutters in the front, that will make the thing snap oversteer like a porsche in the corners and put on the detomaso stripe in the middle in white, like that with the black and chrome of the proper rims with a countach wing thrown on it would actually make it look pretty cool and with the hotrodded motor would go like stink as well too otherwise you might as well call John Wick and ask if you can buy his wrecked 1969 Mach 1 mustang with the same motor' the wrecked one that was painted red then white before the film, which I think I saw in the Gregorie Hines and Billy Chrystal film Running Scared
Interesting project! Go with the Lime! :)
for what it's worth, I would opt for the original lime green. The Miura green is touch "hi-viz vest" in tone
So happy that you opted for the fatter rims. Pantera's need fat meats out back.
Blue!!!!
Pantera green code V307. I know you have already chosen that colour in your heart and are waiting for external validation.
My vote is for the original lime green. The Miura green suits the more rounded 60s shapes of the Miura, but to me feels a bit too bright and shouty for the sharper edges of the Pantera. Save the Miura green for highlighter pens.
Muira lime!
It has to be Lime...quintessential 70s colour and suits it perfectly. Looking forward to this build!
Oh man, I am super excited! And I am just sitting here on my couch watching your channel. I cant imagine how you must feel. The De Tomaso is here! What an exciting car it is. You were lucky to ship it with all that stuff in the car. Entering the US it has to be empty. Or so I was told when exploring to bring my car with me. Finally, work in progress videos! I am even more excited about that. I love your test drive videos, however I miss the famous DIY Influenzo videos. For color - Original Lime please! Campagnolo rims! I was into race bikes (pedal bikes) and Campagnolo made an art of the gearshift and brakes as only the Italians can. And they obviously did the same with those BEAUTIFUL rims. For color - Original Lime please! Nice garage doors by the way. Oh, and please say PSPSPSS to the cat. For color - Original Lime please!
Original lime.
Those are really nice doors on your garage.
Original Lime for me 👍
Original lime!
I bought a tool box that was a similar turquoise colour, but the lime is great.
blue
There's no windsor experts in the u.k? Big cam sounded big given the rocker ratio made it over 1" of lift at the valve. There's plenty of mild cams, but going higher compression will help with going to a bigger cam profile and reducing dynamic compression.
Go Lime - original Lime!
I think keep it black myself.
lovely car lucky man!
Another good call on picking a vibrant new color for it. Black while a slick color, it hides contours, and doesn't inspire. I'd pick the original lime choice available from the factory as my choice.
J.P.S. would fit the bill, plus it is black already so no need to waste money on paint.
I said "wow" when I saw the original lime. I didn't say the same for any of the other colours.
Lime
Love this channel, just keeps getting better and better, De tomaso green!!
Pantera Lime…… ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Metallic Chichester blue, I think the other colours detract from the car
Your hydraulic lifters will fail early, 100% guaranteed. This ain't the 80's,they don't make quality lifters anymore.
british green
Great music choices there Jack.
Good call on the rims, the factory look better in this case.
If you want to stay with period correct colours original Lime looks striking, but perhaps It can be tiring.. the original Blue is a safer choice. However I would suggest to ignore all of this and go for white.
I'm sure the Medium blue is the same as Fords Grabber blue. If you want a green, also look at the 1969 Ford "Poppy Green", this colour was only available in the "California Rainbow of Colors" promotion.
One of my all time favourite cars, can't wait to see it finished. Definitely go for the original green.👍
Silver or Black ... Maybe Dark Grey
I would go back to the original colour De Tomaso Pantera silver & keep it original
Black.... all the way..
Red would be my choice, it really makes the Pantera justice, of the choices mentioned the blue would be my choice
