The song reminds me of the only friend I had since childhood, everything happened so fast and I didn't notice the signs that Amber gave, looking back I see that there was a request for help by the exchanges of looks, in the way she looked for nothing and said that she didn't have options like I did, but to me it all seemed normal because she was kind of philosophical and always joked about it. That afternoon as we were returning from the library she asked for a hug and invited me to travel around aimlessly, then she smiled saying it was a joke, I remember I didn't react but I disguised it when I saw that she was wearing a long-sleeved shirt only with bare hands and once she said she hated it. The next day she didn't go to college and at night they found the body. I think she just wanted to run away, to have a safe haven.
