That's nice and all but please fix your sound before you upload! The older version of that tutorial had better sound how did you go down from this? Also you stutter a lot, maybe write a script to try to minimize it. I'm sorry if I comme off as rude when I say that, I don't mean to be mean, that's a great tutorial but all these problems make it hard to follow it. I really hope that you don't take this comment to heart and that it can help you improve your videos

so in short, what we have to do is that we just have to let the attack animation end after each button input, therefore no timing would be required. and if we press the input again mid animation, the attack will chain. did i get that right? im new and still trying to learn

Great video! i always use this as reference for more things, as a small tip, instead of making multiple attackbehaviour scripts you can make one that takes a string value for the play() method :)

EDIT: Found the fix, look below if anyone else is having the same problem Thank you a ton for this tutorial! It shows how serious you are that you decided to re-record everything. I know it's been a while since you've uploaded, but please keep it up in the future! I do have one problem though, I've been stuck on it for a while, at this point I think I can say every line you said in this video! The first animation and transition go through completely to exit. However, it ONLY goes to exit, if I try to interrupt it with the attack input to transition to the next attack, it restarts on attack1 again. Simply put: The attacks aren't transitioning to attack2 and 3; instead it just keeps replaying the first. I know it's been a long time since you've recorded this, so no hard feelings if you don't remember everything about it. Just thought it was worth a shot for me to ask. Be well! I also notice for a split second after pressing attack in tran1 that it goes into attack2 for a frame but leaves immediately (a Debug.Log won't even show up) if that helps at all. EDIT: I found my fix! I had another object sharing the same animator controller, after deleting it, it was fixed! Good luck!

Dang it, I just can't understand what's going wrong. XD My attack action starts Atk1, that flows into transition 1 flawlessly.. But then it refuses to go to Atk2.. :S I just... goes back to Atk1 if I press the button.. I debugged it, and for some reason, it tries to activate Atk1 twice on the first push. Second push, it tries to activate Atk1 AND Atk3... :S And if I spam the button, I get thousands of debug messages saying it's trying to perform a whole bunch of Atk1 and 3.. XD

Yeah mine is stuck at Atk1 and transition1 too. It seems to spam the attack animation a couple of times for me (4-6 times after printing it out). After the attack it'll put isAttacking back to false, but it wont let me input again and have it change me to the next animation, instead it just stops Atk1 and restarts it from the beggining. I've been rewatching this video since 2AM and now its 12:30PM LOL . If you figured out a fix please let me know! If I find the fix ill be sure to update this for you :)

I found my fix! Hopefully it can help you (if you're still doing it this way). I had another object sharing the same animator controller, after deleting it, it was fixed! I think the spamming of the attack is because its executing on more than 1 object at a time, so it adds up. After deleting the other object it now goes up 1 by 1! Good luck!
