For me Legend Lara is the quintessential Lara Croft. And the game is so admospheric and memorable and the story is truly fascinating. My only criticism though is that I think it should have concluded the story within this game (that also would have made it longer since it is rather short) and not leave that to the sequel, because I think Underworld butchered it by retconning the basic premise from the very beginning.

I think that after the massive negative feedback from gears 4 and 5 the Coalition doesn’t know where to bring the franchise in the 6th installment. Mainly because even after those 2 games. The new trilogy basically has no direction and nothing “major” that really happened. Not to forget they made a massive mistake with the choice at the end of 5. After gears 1 and 2. You felt where the story went next. Gears 4 and 5 made a story that feels like it hasn’t even started yet.
MAN I DON'T CARE IF IT'S GEARS OF WAR 6 OR E DAY ALL I WANT TO SEE IS DESTRUCTIVE ENVIRONMENT WHERE YOU CAN SHOOT EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING IN THE GAME MORE SECRETS MORE OPEN DOORS AND NEW GAMEPLAY MECHANIC THAT'S NOT BROKEN AND OBVIOUSLY SICK GRAPHICS WITH THE POWER OF NEXT-GEN CONSOLES
Exactly gears is one of those franchises I don’t understand how they messed up. Just bring back a re mastered gears 3 mechanics with no lag and new maps. Bring rank insignias back and good

Latest article I read from IGN says that The Coalition is going to continue the Gears 4 and 5 saga with Gears 6 after they finish work on Gears of War: E-Day. Do not ask for the link, KZread will not allow me to post it. A simple Google search, and it will be the first search result that pops up. I think they’re just giving us something to focus on for until that time comes, unless you all want to wait another four or five years of no Gears games being made.

They never gave depth to the story in terms of the characters personal struggles. Like i dont remember if Kait ever felt conflicted, especially seeing her mother. The whole stoopid incident that made everyone upset with JD etc.
The only way Gears 6 can save itself is if in the beginning Kate kills herself to save her friends. It would redeem her terrible/whiney character. This needs to happen.

Chances are if Kal embracing the dark side is cannon we should play as Kata, trained by Kal, searching for other force users. How deep would a open world Jedi recruiter game be, if you don't find the force users before the inquisitors than they join the dark side for the end fight or straight up die, using Kal to train them correctly and keep the team on the right track.

Just a few corrections. 1. Helios and Pandora’s deaths happened AFTER the death of Ares. It was during the events of GOW3 where he killed his father Zeus. 2. I don’t know the name of the “Asian weapon” was but it is actually of Mayan Origin. 3. The “Dual-Wielding Katanas” are actually Khopesh of Egyptian origin.

I don’t think Gear 6 will not be released for a while because Gear 4 and 5 were bad, so they decided to create prequel of the franchise to bring back the series
I enjoyed 4 and 5, but the Coalition backed themselves into a corner with the save JD/Del choice. Now they have to invalidate the decisions for those in the minority vote in favor of majority, or pull a Wolfenstein and make two separate campaigns based around you choice. Gears 6 likely won't come out until the end of the decade.
even if e-day would become the best gears of war ever, i still wouldn't give a shit about gears 6. they went the wrong way and they will continue it.

The problem with Gears 6 is if you make this game that would put the franchise about to run out of content for the future after this game you can’t keep creating game and calling them gears 7 or gears 8 that would be crazy I think they want to make more games this is why they went back to E Day to have more content for the future without killing the franchise to quickly
I disagree. Wrapping up the sequel trilogy will open up the franchise. It could go back to the Locust War following new characters, it could be about the Pendulum Wars, they could even make it about Baird or some other character on E-Day. They could even make a game following the Locust. Gears 6 should be the end of the numbered series, but not the end overall.

What happened to Gears 6? It's shelved because they know it'll fail until someone who actually gives a shit about an actual plot is hired
Even if you like the newer Gears games, I feel like 5 wrote themselves into a corner with that "choose who dies" twist. Putting my bias aside, they now either have to commit to writing two versions of the campaign, or they're going to render the choice mute anyways, so it was a pointless twist of the knife to try and coax an emotional response from the player.
I feel like they tried to do something like the "Save/Kill Carmine campaign" where you had to choose if Clayton lives or dies, but instead they are taking the players choice for the next game.
Make it a dream then turn Kate into the new locust queen which makes jd and del fighting against her all that much harder for them because they were friends once
Del is the only main character that I like a little bit in the 2nd trilogy and I killed him.

Even without watching the video, the biggest thing thay killed Gears 5 was the fact that the made a choice ending to kill either JD or Dell, which was rigged for people to choose Dell to save with how it was positioned. Kate being a bitch, can deal with it. Big open boring world, standard now adays. But giving us a Mass Effect style choice? Dude why.
Sorry bro but i half to correct u dom and marcus met each other when they were in middle school carlos became friends with marcus caz he was alone all the time but marcus became part of the santaigo family when they wete kids some one tried to bully marcus and carlos had his back they all 3 decided to join the cog together dom joined caz he got maria pregnant when they were teenagers to support and provide for his family dom and marcus were rewlly close from the beginning Carlos death made them closer if u read the books bro gears e day will be a very dark and sad time if u kno about dom especially this game will be a very emotional roller coaster

@@_Wizzo much of the whole story and world of gears comes from the many books and comics. There are a couple books that include all 24 comics and they’re so good. Really shows you the brutality of the society.

It’s kinda hard to make gears 6 when they made the choice to kill two major characters, till this day I hate that, they should have picked one to be canon
Gears 5 is by no means a bad game. In terms of lore it adds a lot of great tidbits of story to fill the gaps of the previous entries, specially Gears of War 2. But the character chemistry is completely a$$. Kait is a whiny teenager with mommy issues. I had no problem with her being the protagonist, but she kept mistreating JD, Jinn and even Marcus to the point of being annoying. JD had the best character development during the game, going from a reckless Ken-faced pseudo-hero looking for somewhere to hide his guilt, to a hardened cold-headed soldier with a strong sense of duty. Unfortunately Del had little to no development during the two entries. He was just JD and Kait's sidekick. He had no past and no future. JD deserves to be the MC of Gears 6.

I think the main reason why people picked JD over Del was because of Marcus, of course that doesn’t mean it was mostly on Marcus’ behave.
Im not really complaining BUT I would wish they just got GoW 6 outta the way and choose save JD as canon choice! Inhate they have it hanging. Its like they wrote themself into a corner. And yes Del is a GREAT character but his story arch was done and well. James Fenix have potentionale to grow as a character due to Dels ***** and Marcus " chaddad " Fenix have lost enough!!! And give JD and Baird their blonde hairdos back, at least as buzz cut styles😂

@@oldmateaus I don't hate Del, but he's....bland. No character development. JD is the son of legendary Gear Marcus Fenix, and made a tough choice at the Settlement 2 riot. Kait is the granddaughter of Queen Myrrah, making her a potential inheritor of the Locust crown if she gets abducted or if Reyna dies. Del is....a nerd. He is a childhood friend of JD and loves the Fenix Estate. But that is just learned through dialogue between him and JD. Del didn't get fleshed out like the other two. His character development was even shelled for Fahz. No wonder saving JD is such an easy choice! Del was at a massive disadvantage from the start.
I am curious on how this new gears of war game e day is going to handle the og characters from the old trilogy in this very interesting e day setting.
Read some of the novels and u will have a basic understanding of how they will reintroduce characters from past gears games it's a prequel so there is many stories that can be told in e day
