Flexibility is very good, but the sound... it's a nightmare! Can it write if you barely touch paper? Your handwriting is very nice.

HE'S BACK! WITH A DIP PEN!! I remember your Namiki demonstration videos so fondly with all the philosophical phrases and words written prettily and shapes and patterns. Ever since I saw it I grew obsessed with the way you do that swoopy, loopy underline. Forward, loop back, loop forward, and you always match the curve perfectly. MAGIC!! This guy knowns how to underline and cross t's in more ways than I imagined were possible. The confidence in it is brilliant! Thank you, cool penmanship philosophy guy

Interesting, I bought a 742 with an FA nib to get something like this nib. It’s not easy trying to find someone who can grind nibs like this.

Liked! How does this compare to the 'fresh from factory' Pilot 743 with the Falcon nib which varies between .4mm and 2mm? Does John make it even softer, more like a vintage flex nib? Or about the same? Thanks.

Fun fact: Even thou the ink was invented by Chinese, the fountain pen was invented by Romanians. Until then everyone used feathers to write, but Romanians needed a writing instrument that could be used to stab vampires so they invented this pen
