@PONKPONK great question! It can only be gotten from Red/Evil (PvP) Chests which are unlocked using the Evil Key consumable, dropped occasionally from killing other players. Essentially, playing aggressively and fighting/killing other players rewards you with the strongest powers!

@sashawise3660 u had tons of counterplay for sure. I actually started thinking watching this footage back that you can probably do E -> Blink for an instant slam in the same way you do Q -> Flash on different champs in League. Like starting to buffer the animation then blinking at the very end 😈

I honestly love how the ability to hook my own teammates, and hook both allied and enemy wisps, adds a ton of skill expression to the ability and imo makes it more viable in high level play where usually hook characters fall off the better the enemy players get. He's so well designed!

on shiv u re not oneshotting ppl from 100 to 0 with just ult without spacing/kiting correctly and hitting emp, despite if u fall for dagger-ult as 4 man vs 1 and noone reacts u prob deserve to get oneshotted and ult is not the whole kit u have to hit the other stuff or ur useless

@prt2383 the fact that you can rmb during ult alone is a problem, imo. Enables her damage output to be rediculous. I also think that giving her 2 dashes during her ult makes it so spacing your outer circle becomes way easier than it would otherwise be. On top of that, it applies antiheal. So if some way you're not able to kill them during the ult duration, they can't really get healed up before your teammates finish them off.

@@Stevenator546 if u couldnt shift while ulting it would be nearly imposible to space the narrow outer ring correctly cuz there is a lot of mobility/cc in the game. as i said u re not oneshotting 100 to 0 with just ult. antiheal ye there is a lot in the game of that so ig yes its the purpose of antiheal that they cant be healed u can say that about every hunter with antiheal. would u like the old ult back? it was much easier and almost same effective

But so u want the old ult back or what? also you said all u have to do is dagger in a FULL SQUAD and press ultimate which is a complete dream scenario while enemies are practise dummies if u dagger in a full squad alone u just get raped/cced/ prefired/ grounded/stuned/or left alone cuz they dashed out. I agree that the ult is strong even tho u cant 1shot ppl with just ult but ye.. but the other part no. and i think she has to do the hitting stuff thing because u wont have ur ult all the time shivs identity is not her ult alone which is perma up

@@prt2383 Yeah, the 100 to 0 is with hitting an LMB or two. When you're melee range or damn close to it anyways, I don't find it super hard to do, idk. I think if the game had more point and click CC (not that this would be a good thing, I like that the game doesn't have it), then I would agree that going in vs 4 players would be a death sentence, but since you have 2 dashes during ult and every hard cc in the game is conditional and dodgeable, imo you should never really be getting locked down before dealing the bulk of your damage.

I don't really like tierlists in general but this one is different because you explain your reasoning as to why the characters are placed in their respective tiers. I think all of the placements are reasonable and the explanations for them are satisfactory meaning that I couldn't think of anything that was left out and not taken into consideration. The only take I felt unreasonable was that adamarc wasn't mentioned as a player that could make Felix work. Adamarc Felix in shambles.

And on shiv pre ult she's a lot more punishing than the others because she relys on hitting autos with the dash, obvious she still does at ult but her ult is so strong that u can start a fight while dealing a shit load of dmg

I think you are putting gunner too low just bec he can’t camp. This character stat checks people in team fights now thanks to his E. His rmb is super good against the meta, I am not sure about the turn rate but it felt faster to turn too.

@agooolo-w8z there's a definite chance that's true. In hindsight, I probably should've thrown both Stalker and gunner in a "too small of a sample size" tier, since they were both only available for one day and weren't particularly popular in my games even in that one day.

There's nothing more depressing as a Zeph player to see your team have antiheal tic on them while you stand there contemplating is it even worth to pop your nade ulti combo to try and kill the enemy engage while getting no healing out of the ult or just run away as soon as the fight starts. Not to even mention his mana problems without the LMB mana passive that he used to have.

I agree with basically the whole list, though I would probably have Joule up with Brall and Shiv as the 3 main offenders of that last patch, even with what you said about her. I do have a MAJOR nitpick on your S+, S, A, B, C system though. It basically means A is for average and when you don't even put anyone but characters that were barely playable in C tier it basically means that A is below average since average would be between S and A. I don't really understand why people do their tier lists this way, I guess it's the same as games journalists that think absolute garbage games are 70/100. It's just weird to basically have only 4 ranks and pick S+, S, A and B. If people just keep raising the numbers because they don't want backlash in the comments of people crying their main is low tier, we're just going to have tier lists soon that are just S++++, S+++, S++, S+ and S #maketierlistsgreatagain

It actually has nothing to do with appeasing people and not calling their main characters bad. I guess the way I see it, there's a certain connotation behind every letter in a tier list, much how there's a certain connotation behind every grade letter you could get in school. Teachers will tell you "Cs are average", but for my own standards and the overall educational climate my school, it always felt like getting an A in a non honors class was the average and what was expected. What I mean by this analogy is that in tier lists, A tier means "high-mid tier" to me, and B tier means "mid tier". In the case of the current characters in SUPERVIVE, the characters that I put in S tier truly are exceptional top tier characters in my book, and the only reason its not unified S tier including Brall and Shiv is because I feel those characters are just a different level of OP. To put characters like Ghost, Joule, Myth, and Celeste in "A tier" wouldn't feel right to me because it sells them short, they ARE S tier characters. I feel the same about all of the ones I put in A tier. The moniker of "B tier" doesn't exactly fit them connotatively in my mind. Sorry for the drawn out explanation, but hopefully that explains why I ordered the tiers the way I did. Thank you for the feedback either way though!

@@Stevenator546 Thanks for the reply, that's interesting, I've never been in any class where A was average that's wild. What was above A? A+? Because if A was average that would have to mean there's either grades above A or everyone was A. As for the tier list, if B tier means mid tier, then what is low tier? You can't have a high tier and a mid tier without a low tier (I mean you can, but it doesn't really make sense.), because in that example it just means the mid tier is low tier. It's a pvp game, even if you put someone like Zeph at the bottom of mid tier because he still feels playable, if he is the lowest tier character in the game then he's low tier no? (ignoring the characters that weren't available.) Maybe we have a different mindset, and I still enjoyed the video it just doesn't make sense to me that 14 characters can be high or mid tier and then have 0 characters in low tier.

@@GregRJohnson736 A+ existed, but its moreso that in a school where it felt like everyone was a high achiever (had a lot to do with social pressure and the area/demographics), As felt like the average even if they weren't, since a lot of students were doing outstanding work and really giving it their all. In that way, I think SUPERVIVE is currently a cast of characters where I don't feel right calling anyone "bad". Low tier usually means you're putting yourself at a significant disadvantage by playing those characters, and I just don't think that's the case with the current cast. Imo there's nothing wrong with a game having no low tiers, as low tier characters are usually poorly designed in comparison to the rest of the cast since they don't function well. A low tier vs. a high tier in fighting games for example usually denotes a matchup that is borderline unwinnable. I don't think SUPERVIVE has any of those at the moment.

@@Stevenator546 It's hard to say with SUPERVIVE because it's a team game and you can mask your weaknesses with good team play, also there isn't much of a competitive scene at the moment so you can really play anyone without being punished too hard. When the game launches and players get serious there will be specific team comps, and meta picks and there will be a bigger distinction of good characters vs bad characters. It's your list so you obviously get to make it how you want, though we have different mindsets on it. You have the mindset of low tier feel unplayable or horrible characters, I have the mindset of there is 14 characters so whoever is the worst characters of those 14 would be the low tier characters regardless of playability. More of a feeling vs data mindset. Either way I enjoyed it and I think the tier list is pretty accurate. Not sure if you are only a Supervive guy, but BAPBAP is having a closed beta next week and is a similar game, would be interesting to see some content on that game also.

I like joule the best and had some 25ishk damage games. Stalker I had a lot less play time on but once I figured out rotation of spells and spacing, I was able to get a 25k game. He is hard with spacing dash correctly and you have to play very well around your cds. I promise you this will be a yassuo situation where people figure out how to play him well and he will be a problem . Well designed risk reward high skill ceiling champ

I don't know about that. He has a metric ton of mobility and a resetting invulnerability on his R. That makes him relatively immune to burst, while also having the tools to get out once that burst is used.

Well the reason I did it is because there are multiple characters that I truly feel are strong to the point of being S tier but there are characters among that group that are a bit above the rest. So I don't think the characters in S deserve to be A, but I also don't think they should all be in the same category, you know what I mean?

he even said he runs Kingpin as his main. honestly Kingpin is more of an A tier but it depends on the mode and your team in all honesty. If you have a skilled Kingpin that can hit his yoinks and pair him with someone like Oath then youre got a mean line up with just those two walking around even in squad lobbies. can easily yoink and delete someone making it 3 vs 2. any characters are viable really with the right team and player. but some are easier which is more of what the list is. doing well in all modes overall by yourself or randoms.

@@sooperfy The problem is that not a lot of strong players actually get hit by Kingpin hook. It's slow, visible, and telegraphed. Unless your name is Void, there's really no excuse not to dash out of the way before it hits you. That being said, he can definitely be strong, he just struggles vs high level opponents imo!

And on shiv pre ult she's a lot more punishing than the others because she relys on hitting autos with the dash, obvious she still does at ult but her ult is so strong that u can start a fight while dealing a shit load of dmg
I think you are putting gunner too low just bec he can’t camp. This character stat checks people in team fights now thanks to his E. His rmb is super good against the meta, I am not sure about the turn rate but it felt faster to turn too.
@agooolo-w8z there's a definite chance that's true. In hindsight, I probably should've thrown both Stalker and gunner in a "too small of a sample size" tier, since they were both only available for one day and weren't particularly popular in my games even in that one day.

There's nothing more depressing as a Zeph player to see your team have antiheal tic on them while you stand there contemplating is it even worth to pop your nade ulti combo to try and kill the enemy engage while getting no healing out of the ult or just run away as soon as the fight starts. Not to even mention his mana problems without the LMB mana passive that he used to have.
I agree with basically the whole list, though I would probably have Joule up with Brall and Shiv as the 3 main offenders of that last patch, even with what you said about her. I do have a MAJOR nitpick on your S+, S, A, B, C system though. It basically means A is for average and when you don't even put anyone but characters that were barely playable in C tier it basically means that A is below average since average would be between S and A. I don't really understand why people do their tier lists this way, I guess it's the same as games journalists that think absolute garbage games are 70/100. It's just weird to basically have only 4 ranks and pick S+, S, A and B. If people just keep raising the numbers because they don't want backlash in the comments of people crying their main is low tier, we're just going to have tier lists soon that are just S++++, S+++, S++, S+ and S #maketierlistsgreatagain
It actually has nothing to do with appeasing people and not calling their main characters bad. I guess the way I see it, there's a certain connotation behind every letter in a tier list, much how there's a certain connotation behind every grade letter you could get in school. Teachers will tell you "Cs are average", but for my own standards and the overall educational climate my school, it always felt like getting an A in a non honors class was the average and what was expected. What I mean by this analogy is that in tier lists, A tier means "high-mid tier" to me, and B tier means "mid tier". In the case of the current characters in SUPERVIVE, the characters that I put in S tier truly are exceptional top tier characters in my book, and the only reason its not unified S tier including Brall and Shiv is because I feel those characters are just a different level of OP. To put characters like Ghost, Joule, Myth, and Celeste in "A tier" wouldn't feel right to me because it sells them short, they ARE S tier characters. I feel the same about all of the ones I put in A tier. The moniker of "B tier" doesn't exactly fit them connotatively in my mind. Sorry for the drawn out explanation, but hopefully that explains why I ordered the tiers the way I did. Thank you for the feedback either way though!
@@Stevenator546 Thanks for the reply, that's interesting, I've never been in any class where A was average that's wild. What was above A? A+? Because if A was average that would have to mean there's either grades above A or everyone was A. As for the tier list, if B tier means mid tier, then what is low tier? You can't have a high tier and a mid tier without a low tier (I mean you can, but it doesn't really make sense.), because in that example it just means the mid tier is low tier. It's a pvp game, even if you put someone like Zeph at the bottom of mid tier because he still feels playable, if he is the lowest tier character in the game then he's low tier no? (ignoring the characters that weren't available.) Maybe we have a different mindset, and I still enjoyed the video it just doesn't make sense to me that 14 characters can be high or mid tier and then have 0 characters in low tier.
@@GregRJohnson736 A+ existed, but its moreso that in a school where it felt like everyone was a high achiever (had a lot to do with social pressure and the area/demographics), As felt like the average even if they weren't, since a lot of students were doing outstanding work and really giving it their all. In that way, I think SUPERVIVE is currently a cast of characters where I don't feel right calling anyone "bad". Low tier usually means you're putting yourself at a significant disadvantage by playing those characters, and I just don't think that's the case with the current cast. Imo there's nothing wrong with a game having no low tiers, as low tier characters are usually poorly designed in comparison to the rest of the cast since they don't function well. A low tier vs. a high tier in fighting games for example usually denotes a matchup that is borderline unwinnable. I don't think SUPERVIVE has any of those at the moment.
@@Stevenator546 It's hard to say with SUPERVIVE because it's a team game and you can mask your weaknesses with good team play, also there isn't much of a competitive scene at the moment so you can really play anyone without being punished too hard. When the game launches and players get serious there will be specific team comps, and meta picks and there will be a bigger distinction of good characters vs bad characters. It's your list so you obviously get to make it how you want, though we have different mindsets on it. You have the mindset of low tier feel unplayable or horrible characters, I have the mindset of there is 14 characters so whoever is the worst characters of those 14 would be the low tier characters regardless of playability. More of a feeling vs data mindset. Either way I enjoyed it and I think the tier list is pretty accurate. Not sure if you are only a Supervive guy, but BAPBAP is having a closed beta next week and is a similar game, would be interesting to see some content on that game also.
@@GregRJohnson736 I gave bapbap a shot in a playtest a few months ago actually! It seemed pretty fun but definitely didn't scratch the same itch as supervive for me. I might end up playing a bit during the playtest next week, we'll have to see!
I like joule the best and had some 25ishk damage games. Stalker I had a lot less play time on but once I figured out rotation of spells and spacing, I was able to get a 25k game. He is hard with spacing dash correctly and you have to play very well around your cds. I promise you this will be a yassuo situation where people figure out how to play him well and he will be a problem . Well designed risk reward high skill ceiling champ

I don't know about that. He has a metric ton of mobility and a resetting invulnerability on his R. That makes him relatively immune to burst, while also having the tools to get out once that burst is used.

Well the reason I did it is because there are multiple characters that I truly feel are strong to the point of being S tier but there are characters among that group that are a bit above the rest. So I don't think the characters in S deserve to be A, but I also don't think they should all be in the same category, you know what I mean?

he even said he runs Kingpin as his main. honestly Kingpin is more of an A tier but it depends on the mode and your team in all honesty. If you have a skilled Kingpin that can hit his yoinks and pair him with someone like Oath then youre got a mean line up with just those two walking around even in squad lobbies. can easily yoink and delete someone making it 3 vs 2. any characters are viable really with the right team and player. but some are easier which is more of what the list is. doing well in all modes overall by yourself or randoms.
@@sooperfy The problem is that not a lot of strong players actually get hit by Kingpin hook. It's slow, visible, and telegraphed. Unless your name is Void, there's really no excuse not to dash out of the way before it hits you. That being said, he can definitely be strong, he just struggles vs high level opponents imo!
