Incrível!!! Como você consegue tirar um som tão limpo do violino sem pressionar o instrumento com o queixo?
It's beautiful and it cuddles my poor tortured heart.🥲💗
Good playing keep it up 😂
nice recording, good medium pace for learning... I'm using this video to learn the tune on banjo
I really love your playing. Great tone, great touch, consummately musical, Very nice.
Thanks to you, I’ve really been fiddling around
That fiddle sounds double-tracked or are you double-stopping? Very effective
@@Klaudiusian Yes, it’s double-tracked with a harmony! 🎻
Thanks so much. My local session plays this tune, and we also use it in another context for dances. So I have to learn it, and I was struggling with the tune until I found your video. I have already played along about 20-30 times, first at 0.9 x speed and then at full speed. You have just the right groove that I was looking for. Just lovely playing!
Thank you!! I love the speed control option on KZread!
Great talent that's hard to match. Your playing inspires me to improve.
Hi Liz, I just wanted to thank you, for your fine lessons! As a struggling, beginner fiddle player, I happily found your videos on KZread, and you are my go-to for irish tunes. Thank You!!
That is wonderful to hear. Thank you so much!!
How do I get just the sheet music for this tune?
Hi Raymond! It's available at my Patreon page here: www.patreon.com/posts/how-to-play-reel-103285354
Very nice tune and performance, thank you for sharing 😌
Fun fact: the song "Once We Were" from Dragon Age: Inquisition is set to this melody. This video is a great rendition of it!
Love the way your fiddle looks and sounds...
How do you all feel about the pacing of these tutorial videos? Would you prefer fewer repetitions of each phrase? Let me know what you think!
You are relaxing
cute musician, nice fiddle.....
I've finally found my favorite style of fiddle playing. It makes me cry, what do you call it? Irish what? Those chords are HARD, so far Ive mostly done single notes . . . Do you teach? ❤❤❤
Very nice! I played an alternate version here on tin whistle that adds a few more variations - kzread.info/dash/bejne/lGeKybuDecjQoNo.html
really nice,
❤❤❤Too late, I learned this one by ear yesterday 🤣I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks!
❤ keep the slow tunes coming.
Just beautiful! Thank you.
Superb and beautiful, thank you
Awesome Liz, you bring bliss to my ears gonna learn it today ❤
I love that tune! I think I almost have it except for the ornaments you're putting in. I like these airs that I can keep up with. Now another 20 years to work on my tone to be as beautiful as yours 😢
Super performance of an air close to my heart!
I love this one too!
So beautiful. Dad likes it too.
Beautiful!
Mil gracias! Es preciosa!👏👏👏👏👏👏💜
I hope I get this good.
Beautiful, and wonderful how you incorporate the b part on the lower register, excellent. Many thanks Liz. Ronnie.
Thanks Ronnie. I do love the down-an-octave trick!
C'est une douce mélodie
Nice triplets right before the stop. Thank you for sharing your gift. Great teacher.
How Beautiful !
Thank you Lisa for teaching me the melody to this tune. Great job.
Very clean and very well played. And you're one of the rarest fiddlers that I see doing the vibrato the right direction. Bravo.
Confirmed. Your Tenuto is quite lovely. You play it so much more tenderly than I do (but then I'm a recovering Rock guitar player, so...). Mine comes out as a tight waltz, almost a military march. I am still trying to mellow my hands, but decades of "banging" take a while to overcome. I am trying to achieve more Tenuto and less Martele. Well, it is a journey and not a destination, isn't it?
Thank you so much! And pardon me while I Google tenuto... 😊
I love this, you're teaching chord inversions and chord shapes while also giving guidance on how to use them in a melody with minimal memorization. 100% one of my favorite teaching videos!
Wow, and this from an over-critical critic! Thank you 😊
Yes, it is true. I really like your playing and your tone. So there's that. I just don't know how you can play holding the bow that way. It doesn't matter what I think though, because you make it work.
I know you don’t have a lot of viewers ‘but PLEASE CONTINUE YOU CHANNEL😁
What a wonderful tune, your variations are second to none, well done Liz and thank you so much for spending that amount of time in your lessons 😀 many thanks. Ronnie.
boy she is smart 😮.
boy she is smart 😮.
I am from Myanmar(Burma). Just start learning at 65 years old,,😊 I am not able to read music sheet n don't know to read. Your teaching method makes me learning forward. Thanks
i like the way you hold the bow. i thought the bow had to be held at the end .
i like the way you hold the bow. i’m just starting . i thought you always hold at the 🐸 frog.
Basically you're describing what on paper would look like a Sicilian rhythm. And those who swing hard - in any style - even like a Wes Montgomery on a guitar - vary what happens from downbeat to downbeat in ever so subtle ways. Good stuff!
matur suksma
Beautiful version!
