    Here’s a mystery. New motorcycle runs GREAT on 87 octane and Castrol 10W-40 synthetic oil. 600 mile service, still runs GREAT on 87 octane and Castrol 10W-40 synthetic oil. 1806 miles, 87 octane and Castrol 10W-40 synthetic oil. ENGINE KNOCKS. This time a Full tank of 93 octane and Castrol 10W-40 synthetic oil. STILL KNOCKS. This is on a Triumph bonneville 1200 engine. Seems to be a common occurrence on these all over the world. So it can’t be the gas or oil obviously. England had very high octane fuel but they still knock. We were thinking the cam-chain tensioner but the oil is always the same. High octane fuel doesn’t eliminate the knocking. Tried that myself just yesterday. The only thing I can come up with is a software problem with the ECU during the service at the dealership. Considering this is the common denominator because the bikes are serviced at different dealers in different countries BUT connected to the same mainframe in London to Triumph headquarters that effect the bikes that get ECU updates. From the information given in this video if the timing is off, or the mixture and the timing is off, the result is a misfire. What else could it be ????? Triumph tells us it’s normal but my these bikes run GREAT other than this knocking. People have tried valve adjustments, with no difference. Help please ……..

    Αντι για λαδι εγω χρησιμοποίησα αντισκουριακο σπρέι με λαδι μετα πήγαινα με το αυτοκίνητο Αυτο το εκανα για 4-5 μερες μετα η προθέρμανση ξεβιδωσε και την αλλαξα

    Czujnik może nie pokazywać błędu na urządzeniu diagnostycznym i multimetrze. Ale w parametrach będzie temperatura - 40 i to wystarczy do okłamywania sterownika. Wtedy nie ma procedury wypalania DPF. Taki czujnik jest uszkodzony. Warto o tym wspomnieć.

    in case of detonation you basically have the combustion process accelerated because of the additional spots where fuel starts to burn so similarly to pre ignition the peak pressure is going to be before it was intended resulting in a higher peak. Preignition also makes a pinging sound without the wave fronts colliding. the wave front’s colliding theory seems hard to understand. basically the fronts travel at less than 1 m/s. and collision between them doesn’t seem relevant but collision between sound wave fronts might be. These travel at the speed of sound and bounce off the walls. the sound waves should have very low frequency. Doesn’t seem a problem anyway. Besides there are double spark plug engines, that wouldn’t be possible.

    Testing mine on my mercedes e220 2015.... reading only show when multimeter is setted to 2k and not 200m like in your video ...and when i use a heat gun the numbers will go up very slow instead then down. Any advice? Ta

    Hallo, wir empfehlen die Glühkerze bei betriebswarmem Motor (~ 90°C) unter Beachtung der Abreißmomente mittels geeignetem Drehmomentschlüssel auszubauen.

    Tengo una pregunta, si al extraer una bujia NGK , esta se agrieta ( motor antiguo gasolina de hierro ) extraigo la bujía pero una viruta de porcelana se cuela por el orificio ( del tamaño de la cabeza de un alfiler no menor)!esa porcelana se pulverizara con las altas temperaturas o saldra por la válvula de escape...

    Hola Manuel. Un trozo de cerámica, si es muy pequeño, es posible que sea expulsado fácilmente por el escape, al igual que un trozo de carbonilla, pero si es de cierto tamaño, puede generar daños en el cilindro, la culata y las válvulas hasta que sea expulsado o desintegrado por las pistonadas. Dependerá del tamaño del mismo. Las altas temperaturas no van a fundirlo ni pulverizarlo.

    Vi noutros vídeos, não sei se aconselham, que foi barrada massa de alta temperatura nas roscas e corpo da vela, com a excepção da ponta (resistência). Isso ajudará à remoção numa próxima vez?

    Would that not cause a drop in voltage tolerance with the wire being too long. I only ask this as I have just replaced an O2 sensor and I am now getting an error code reading heater circuit performance too low? Thanks

    @@drloch6174 Yeah, you’re right I swapped it out for a Bosch and problem solved. The Bosch also came in a standard length which had to be shortened so that’s my theory out of the water. Cheers amigo.

    Si cuando las calibre con una moneda a 0.7 mm unas bujías de platino NGK se le raspó el aislante blanco también llamado “polvo” ya no sirven?

    Desde NGK, no se recomienda ajustar el gap de las bujias de metal precioso porque existe un riesgo elevado de dañar el electrodo central. En caso de que sea imprescindible, ha de hacerse con utillaje específico para bujias de metal precioso. Si al hacerlo, has dañado el aislador central, no debes montar esa bujia, pues ese daño puede provocar que al poner en marcha el motor el aislador se rompa totalmente y provoque un daño en el motor.

    Καλησπέρα σας. Μπορούμε να βρούμε καινούργια φίσα στο εμπόριο ή μπορούμε να επισκευάσουμε την παλιά με χαμηλό κόστος κάνοντας χρήση ειδικών εργαλείων για αποσυναρμολόγηση των καλωδίων από την φίσα.

    Hey mate on my scanner my two exhaust temp sensors say 80 dergees celcius when car is cold is this normal? They do rise though when car heats up.

    Hola Miguel, el cable con conector que instalamos con la sonda universal proviene de la sonda que estamos sustituyendo. Hemos de reutilizar el conector usado y parte del cable para instalarlo en la sonda nueva. Por ello, hemos de hacer las medidas previas antes de cortar el cable y así adaptarlo al largo del cable que necesitamos.

    Hi swd, the values of the sensors shown in the video should be in kΩ or MΩ. Follow the instructions on how to test these sensors, and good luck with the testing!

    What are the common problems with this sensor.... My mk6 has been stalling, cleaned throttle body, replaced tps, coil, oougs, cleaned filter, cleaned pump filter, no error codes... Runs perfectly then stalls in middle of the road & starts again easily but cuts in middle of idling / driving... Pls advice Sir
