Don’t misunderstand me, but this is a ridiculous process for oiling the 550e. I do not understand why Janome would make an embroidery machine that needs to be taken apart each time it needs to be oiled. It makes no sense. Every other brand of sewing and embroidery machines, or just embroidery machines, do not need to be oiled. Janome could have done the same with the 400, 500, and the 550. I was considering getting the 500 or 550, but not anymore! I have an expensive sewing and embroidery machine that is serviced once a year without needing to be oiled, and so far it has lasted me over 10 years. I believe Janome is cutting corners. So spend $300+ to make a few tags. I thought you were going to show a cost effective way of creating tags.
@elizartdesignstudio3 ай бұрын
Hi Charlie, I believe this is a cost effective way of creating some simple bag tags. To create 25 tags the way I have is under £15 for someone who is just starting out on their bag making journey. I have researched getting bag tags made and it will cost over £150. I will be at some point getting those but I thought it would be helpful to show others (who may be in the same position as myself) how to create something that looks nice and not too expensive. Thanks for watching and have a great day.

I love my H2, but I find it hard to turn the knob for the stitch length for smaller stiches. I can't set it for anything less than 4. If I try to make them bigger, it's just fine, but the smaller the setting, the harder to turn it gets.
@elizartdesignstudio5 ай бұрын
Hi Eve, the best way to get the knob to turn is to press the small silver lever, the reverse lever and slightly press on the knee lifter and turn the know all at the same time. Now doing all that does mean you need three arms to do that all at the same time 🤣. It can be done by using your wrist to press the reverse lever whilst your fingers of that same hand is free to turn the knob. I hope this helps. Do let me know if it worked for you. 🫶🏽💕

Here is the link you requested www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07427M1SX/?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_plhdr=t&aaxitk=1031b8f187bf3a8596ace363af8ff604&hsa_cr_id=7786828030702&qid=1714766131&sr=1-1-b76ccce4-e4ce-4a30-8e0c-9a83ecdf2cc0&ref_=sbx_be_s_sparkle_scm_asin_0_img&pd_rd_w=D86hp&content-id=amzn1.sym.632045c6-bd11-46a2-8a95-3c8490cff666%3Aamzn1.sym.632045c6-bd11-46a2-8a95-3c8490cff666&pf_rd_p=632045c6-bd11-46a2-8a95-3c8490cff666&pf_rd_r=KAEX2MAHM3YC55H278P6&pd_rd_wg=rXpY3&pd_rd_r=e25e2bef-d2fb-4116-af6a-b94d9ad1a2bd

Good job! I'm having trouble getting the extra fancy glyphs in Creative fabrica. I have the free trial 😕
Hi there. The glyphs only come with certain fonts. I used the Moraline script font which I also got from creative fabrica - this font does include glyphs. I use a Mac and so those glyphs can be accessed from the font book by copying and pasting into cricut design space. Please let me know if you are successful and if I can be of further assistance. Thank you for watching 🫶🏽
Thank you, I figured to out!
Is there a trick to getting cap back on. I can get it but the space in front by threader doesn't seem right
got it. Thank you soooo much.
Is there an embroidery foot thats adjustable to go over thicker materials in janome 550e
Hi there, I’m am not sure if there is. I have put a double layer of faux leather and it coped fine. Thanks for watching 🫶🏽
Great Video. Thank you so very much. Could you please tell me where I can get the neat oiler bottle.
Hi Evelyn, I got mine from Amazon, here is a link for the one I have www.amazon.co.uk/duratool-OL1000-pin-Point-applicator-Controlled/dp/B00XMRPND2/ref=mp_s_a_1_14?crid=3FU49JS4IXZPT&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.3OXQqFAJGMJ8oNaLQrSbCcfqgFQ7sFq7N-0Fi1pq1eFkQbO2vzkYiAh_azMDjjEJnTvQ6VvjG-Xm0IfOfU5kOarEpgoEbN7eurgBY1J6HMrTTX0C2zn8p90XadSESo4SFA0cWD-vUb7ai-vWUT8AEcEaiql_qyENeKT8v0Dt9DTE5ovNe5GcYv4hflX_zX74Bdx6GFPk5oC1tyQWFDi_KQ.CqMMlD55hjtBtmJhhnVqLIALZBmCE8vVo8NugytqJbQ&dib_tag=se&keywords=sewing+machine+oil+applicator&qid=1713288795&sprefix=sewing+machine+oil+applicator%2Caps%2C76&sr=8-14 Thanks for watching 🫶🏽

Where do you access your "font book"?
Hi Pamela, I normally just search on the Mac for font book in the search bar in lunch pad or search for it in spot light. I hope this helps. 🫶🏽
So spend $300+ to make a few tags. I thought you were going to show a cost effective way of creating tags.
Thank you, that was great, didn’t think of putting HTV on metal tags, so pretty. That green color is gorgeous, and your invisible strap connecter is perfection. I have not attempted a bag with that element yet, looks difficult. A video on that would be awesome.
Hi Alice, this is bag pattern is the Herieth by Lavender and Twine - she doesn’t allow videos of her patterns. I will try and do a generic video of how to do the invisible connector . Thank you for watching 🫶🏽💕
Hey Queen.
Hey Rachel, thank you for watching 🫶🏽💕
hi please can you tell me why you choose embird please
Hi Daisy, I chose Embird because it was the most affordable for me between that and Hatch. I liked the way the software worked as it was similar to design software that I had used in the past. I also liked that I could get a plug in where I could embroider fonts from my computer. Thank you for watching 🫶🏽💕
Hello,what thread did you use
Hi Martin, I use brothread from amazon www.amazon.co.uk/New-brothread-Colours-Polyester-Embroidery/dp/B07XYTD8YD/ref=mp_s_a_1_14?crid=1WYYZZP34CXUQ&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.HkmV83J44WxvEpHeJTIubFn9nXOYxMoJAZoLIa41NiWpEZzfyzdfG3qfqrh5JkVah7HEFWSGztizSMqZ9XmiCtuscJcwWdPltGEiszU7BCcKpeOj3aaItheFnKgCSEyJFZwFRdSFW-0ihzCrI1RronsKMNf4a7SFutI4vkkaIMN6vPYhLxX_qm1Z21f0me8ZuE40JkV0iqCuztyWDZaoUA.gMalYUUXaCwy6hy8EZq9QVMavXPO08_a3r6TY8STQmg&dib_tag=se&keywords=brothread+embroidery+threads&qid=1712066240&sprefix=brothread+embroder%2Caps%2C94&sr=8-14. Hi Jacqueline, the Jack H2 is an awesome machine, I’m really happy with it. Thank you for watching 🫶🏽💕
Thanks have you used it for fro motion quilting can you move the feed dogs down x
I haven’t used it for free motion quilting. Do the feed dogs need to be down? I’m not sure if the feed dogs on the Jack H2 can be disengaged.
Incredibly helpful! Thank you 🙏🏾
Hi Josette, you’re welcome and thank you for watching 🫶🏽💕

Does the HTV anything stick to powdered surfaces and stay on? Such as a yeti or hydroflask type surface. Thank you
Hi Diane, I’ve never tried the HTV Anything on powered coated surface before, so I couldn’t say if for sure that it would have good adhesion. Might be a good idea to enquire from The Rhinestone World. Sorry I could help with this. Many thanks for watching 🫶🏽💕
Hello great video. What Brand stabiliser and weight do you use on the back of the tshirt x
thank you for this video. Have you sewn any leather with this yet? I am thinking of getting one but just want to know just how good it is at sewing thick fabrics/leathers. Thanks once again.
Hi Donny, I haven’t sewn leather yet but I know others on a facebook group I follow have done. I have sewn several layers of faux and it goes through it like butter. It really is a wonderful machine - I love that I can also raise the needle with the foot peddle instead of having to use the hand wheel. Let me know if I could help further and thank you for watching. 🙏🏾🫶🏽
This bag is looking gorgeous ❤
Thank you so much 🙏🏾💕
Pls help me every time i try to save my work , a window is appearing with words “ failed to set calendar min/max range “ what does it mean?
Hi there, I have never come across that before. Are you saving on your computer? I normally save my stuff on a usb flash drive.
I love my H2, but I find it hard to turn the knob for the stitch length for smaller stiches. I can't set it for anything less than 4. If I try to make them bigger, it's just fine, but the smaller the setting, the harder to turn it gets.
@@elizartdesignstudio I was only pressing the silver "Push" lever. But I'll try your suggestion. Thanks!
@EveGM2787 you are welcome 🫶🏽
This is a bit beyond my sewing ability, but I love how organized, straightforward and pleasant your tutorials are. Thanks for sharing! 💛
Hi there, thank you so much for this comment, I really appreciate it. 🫶🏽💕
By the way, I think you can totally do it. 🫶🏽
@@elizartdesignstudio Thanks for the vote of confidence! 😁💛
thank you. I hesitated to oil my machine beyond the wick and under bobbin.
Hi Michelle , it’s worth doing. Mine was so dry. 🤦🏾♀️.
Thank you! cant afford $150 every 6 month just for oiling!
It doesn’t cost that much to oil 😀
hi glad to see you thank you for all of your wonderful tips
Thank you Heather 🥰🫶🏽💕
