Great flight and landing, watched the full thing. Do you recommend any videos on how to fly an a330 for beginners because I am struggling to make the autopilot do what I want it to do. It just goes straight. Thanks
Hi the airbus is a nice beginner aircraft, if you are getting stuck I recommend watching some tutorials but once you get the basics the aircraft is quite straightforward to fly, however saying all that the default a330 does have some bugs that make it a little bit of a handful to fly.
Was the transition of BNN on your flight plan I did the same flight but from sfo the other day and it didn’t list a transition on simbrief and I was confused
No it’s not on the flight plan, the transition is given to you for specific arrival point you need navigraph or if you don’t have navigraph just play around with them until one fits.

Is the engine sounds default or custom? They sound a lot better than for my zibo
They are all default with the Zibo mod.
What is the default A330 like for system depth? It looks pretty decent tbh I might do some flights in it
It’s got good system depth however the Lnav and others autopilot systems are sometimes very buggy.

Thanks man and with regard to stutters my sim on my screen looks fine but in the videos it stutters a lot I believe it’s my frame gen mod or thats what I have narrowed it down to.
Same bug from years gone by across the platforms, no night lighting at Canary Whalf. How can this be 'refined' for XP12 but carry forward issues like this!
It is very annoying, hopefully some updates will rectify the problems.

Flew the new X Plane 12bversion of True Earth GB South in VR, with real weather and real time and it was amazing. Looked so realistic, really smooth and loaded quickly too compared to the previous version. Amazing stuff, so realistic in VR, can't believe how far flight sims have come since I first used Flight Simulator 98 back in the day.
It is really impressive, especially in v1 I think it’s a great time to be involved in x-plane really looking forward to what the future holds.
My level up is quite a mess in xp12, cant climb fast enough on short flights what i mean: Zibo: nm to t/d: 100 LEVELUP: nm to t/d: 50
Yes it is broken, I would just stick to the Zibo mod if I’m honest.
@@Aviation-SIM I'm landing -800s where normally only -700s could operate at, they are insane landings!
That’s another thing that is broken the breaking action is too strong, flap 30 auto brake 3 will let you land at nearly any airfield.

Why dont you just imput the simbrief route onto the FMC?
I use the PMDG one, I just find it easier.
for me the level up 737 works great but they might be because I'm on xp11
It works well for me in x-plane 11 as well but the aircraft was made for xp11 and not updated so that’s why the add-on has some bugs, hopefully they update the add-on soon.
Those stutters are due to the inibuilds scenery, i use the freeware egss instead, i get no stutters then.

How is it possible that your cockpit looks so sharp and bright? My Zibo cocpit looks very dark and the outside view is very bright
I am running x-plane 12.1 beta so i don’t know if it’s something to do with that I will be doing a video about my settings soon tho.

I would personally say that X-plane is the most Realistic in terms of Flight model and physics, however MSFS is more realistic in terms of visuals.

You have to set your minimum’s in your landing perf page.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I have been waiting for this to drop as my own interest is for South England as I live there and fly GA around familiar home territories in the South. I have gone ahead and purchased, Probably will get the midlands and North in time but I am going to be checking out the South when it finishes downloading...

Thanks for your video. I’ll certainly be getting this, but it’s a shame the scenery is quite old, looking at the screen shots on their website. I know the buildings along the river quite well and it’s probably at least five years out of date. The area between Vauxhall and Battersea Power Station has undergone a massive development in recent years. The same near the millennium dome where there are loads of new flats. Certainly a big improvement though.
They have made a lot of changes to the new scenery but I see what you mean they haven’t added many new places or places that have been developed since the x-plane 11 release.
what flight controls do you use to fly the plane?
I use the airbus TCA side stick from Thrust master.

Amazing video. I mostly use Msfs, I have Xplane 11? Should I sometimes switch back? To Xplane 11 or buy Xplane 12? After watching this its makeint me concider
I think it looks terrible compared to msfs and also the Physics are not that better, so i would recommand staying in MSFS. Also there are coming some amazing Planes this year for MSFS
I would recommend x-plane 12 however if you are happy with x-plane 11 I would wait for more add ons to be made for x-plane 12
How do you clear out the haziness in the skies? Looks super clear on your sim

Well I would assume so as I have no other add ons that change the sim the only add ons I use are aircraft and scenery’s.
why x plane looks like a flight sim from 2002 ?
X-plane does have some very bad graphics sometimes however it still is a great sim

Yes both scenery’s are from boundless.
Talk about coincidence, I was just flying that route in my updated xp12 with the exact zibo..we think alike!!

Intel Core i5, 16GI RAM, 240GB SSD, 2TB HDD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060ti it was a pre build from Costco I got it for around £1100 brand new a couple of years ago.
How did you get to use frame gen without blurry displays?
I watched a KZread tutorial from pilot studd and airnott it was very easy to follow.

Its msfs2020 not X plane. X plane have worse textures than msfs2020 and A340 is mod

I don’t use any add ons for graphics it’s just default X-plane 12.

The scenery I used at Bristol is pilot plus EGGD it’s x-plane 11 scenery that I ported over.

What are the flaws the aircraft has? Since it’s not fully updated for xpl12. Does the -900 also work?
900 is the same as the 800 works however it does have problems like not being able to hold cruise altitude and some speed restrictions also aircraft is really sluggish in pitch and roll.

Well yes it has bugs like it can’t manage altitude very well and there are some lighting bugs but it will get you from A to B just not as realistically as the Zibo.

Yes it’s in the threshold page it is for x-plane 11 but you can just put the folder straight into x-plane 12 and it works

horrible sim, graphics shit and doesent look real. FS2020 is winning and flight performance are also improving in fs2020 making X-plane number 2
I mean your entitled to your opinion but I enjoy both sims, idk what x-plane has done to you to make you so mad about it 😂 just be happy there are 2 good flight sims to choose from.

Thank you and yes ill try and do a replay next time, also the flight physics in X-plane are miles better than MSFS you can really tell that the aircraft is heavy also the ground handling is a lot better and the way the aircraft taxis, also in take off and landing it is a more enjoyable experience hand flying an approach or departure in X-plane rather than MSFS saying all that I really enjoy both sims.
Why does it need so much power to move on the ground? This doesn't seem realistic.
Yeah I know have to stand the thrust levers up to about 40% to start moving also slows down way too fast, however it is a free aircraft.
@@Aviation-SIM Yes true, ToLiss is doing a A330 for X Plane 12 but not sure which A330 it’s going to be yet which hasn’t been announced.
