    What a drag that they never marketed this bike in the US. Rare as hen's teeth over here.. and twice the price.

    Fifty years old eh? Well so is my 1971 BSA A65 FS which looks miles better than this TX. The graphics are horrible.

    Hi mate, yes I'll agree that the graphics aren't the best, I'd like to change it but as the paint work is original I'm just going to leave it the way it is, it's a great bike to ride through, so smooth for a 750 twin, thanks for your comment 😀

    @@yamonda900 You know I got my license on one back in 1975. It belonged to my mate and was a better option for the test than my Royal Enfield 750 Interceptor Stage II! Having e-start and indicators. But that one was beautiful green metallic and gold with the usual Yamaha graphics for the time. The ride was very good.

    For my opinion, this was the most beautiful motorcycle that was built ever. The design is perfect. In 1972 I was a student and could not effort a new bike, I bought a used Honda CB 250 and was riding it not for long. When I started my carreer as an enigneer, I needed a car for travelling long routes with baggage. Later on I lost my interrest in riding motobikes. Now I am 74, owner of a 94 Honda NTV 650. I wished I would have bought a TX 750, the beauty of the classics.

    I've said before that there are zero gatherings/places of this sort anywhere I know of around here (Texas, USA). It seems a universal rule everywhere that you can look at another man's motorcycle or car all you want, but you never touch another man's car or motorcycle - that makes gatherings possible and peaceful. That museum is very nice - if we only knew the stories each of those cars and motorcycles could tell.

  • @yamonda900
    @yamonda9004 ай бұрын

    Thanks for your comment, yes we are very lucky to be able to visit this Museum, sometimes the owner Tony Longhurst will come and have a chat with us, check him out on Google, he's raced some awesome cars in his career , we are so privileged to be able to just go in for free to check out his collection. He changes the cars and bikes around from time to time , hope you're doing well , all the best from Down Under. kzread.info/dash/bejne/hIFlyqelhLbPj6Q.html

  • @yamonda900

    Not sure but they would be a bit quicker , I know back in the 1970's my brother had an XS2 and I'm sure I could out do him and it handled much better and it doesn't vibrate like a XS2 , these are a very smooth running twin, I really like this one.
