Fifty years old eh? Well so is my 1971 BSA A65 FS which looks miles better than this TX. The graphics are horrible.

Hi mate, yes I'll agree that the graphics aren't the best, I'd like to change it but as the paint work is original I'm just going to leave it the way it is, it's a great bike to ride through, so smooth for a 750 twin, thanks for your comment 😀

@@yamonda900 You know I got my license on one back in 1975. It belonged to my mate and was a better option for the test than my Royal Enfield 750 Interceptor Stage II! Having e-start and indicators. But that one was beautiful green metallic and gold with the usual Yamaha graphics for the time. The ride was very good.

For my opinion, this was the most beautiful motorcycle that was built ever. The design is perfect. In 1972 I was a student and could not effort a new bike, I bought a used Honda CB 250 and was riding it not for long. When I started my carreer as an enigneer, I needed a car for travelling long routes with baggage. Later on I lost my interrest in riding motobikes. Now I am 74, owner of a 94 Honda NTV 650. I wished I would have bought a TX 750, the beauty of the classics.

Hi mate, I have electronic ignition on mine, I'm using just 1 coil with twin outlets, it's from a Kawasaki zx400, spark plugs are the recommended one, where do you live?

I agree with you, thanks for the comment , my 1974 TX750 A is awesome, not so my 1972 TX750, it was stuffed in 3 months, I now have a CB750 motor in it, no problems now.

I had it mounted on the front indicator ,only about 250mm out, this was just a test video, I can only improve I hope .

Mine leaks a little from back of the ignition even though I put two seals in there. Only a drip. Great to see two at one go. Thanks.

I've said before that there are zero gatherings/places of this sort anywhere I know of around here (Texas, USA). It seems a universal rule everywhere that you can look at another man's motorcycle or car all you want, but you never touch another man's car or motorcycle - that makes gatherings possible and peaceful. That museum is very nice - if we only knew the stories each of those cars and motorcycles could tell.

I have a custom xs650 bobber. Engine is having issues. You think this would fit in the xs frame relatively easy.

Not sure but they would be a bit quicker , I know back in the 1970's my brother had an XS2 and I'm sure I could out do him and it handled much better and it doesn't vibrate like a XS2 , these are a very smooth running twin, I really like this one.

Bought one view in 1972, a mechanical disaster, Pitmans Yamaha had it stripped down twice under warranty,never did fix oil leaking onto points even with labyrinth seal . Despite all that I still have fond memories of riding
