really enjoyed this, i loved this film as it was anyway, but this interpretation massively helped me understand it more after id been left a little confused on rewatch. thank you.

Having just finished the film, it had left me with this strange feeling; not an anti climax per se, however an empty one nonetheless. Oliver's actions seemed to sink him lower, as he had attempted common ground, but the more we got to know his mum and his girlfriend, the more I felt that the connections he had were just as intoxicating as his absence to them. No one in his circle truly know how to help each other - I mean, the tension the mother infested could hardly be justified. And the girlfriend clearly gave Oliver an unreliable mindset. So, in conclusion, I think the reason why I have this empty feeling is because, unlike other films, none of these problems actually get solved. They just continue...

I like the theory that Jordana isn’t real in the last scene. She’s in his head and he’s about to drown himself. The title is submarine after all. Jordana is there with a black dog, known as a bad omen. Not to mention the final line in the narration: “this is, no doubt, the end”.

Hearing that these are rare is weird to me. I remember around 2014-2015 they were quite a few on ebay. One particular seller had them still sealed and only for like 8 bucks with free shipping. I’m guessing they had them tucked away somewhere and eventually found them and just wanted to clear out? Thanks for the video on this though! It’s always been a more interesting part of my collection as I never had a pocket pc to even test it out.

Kinda funny that I found out about this video by happening to find a copy on eBay when searching for physical PDA games. It's a strange port, not just being a physical release for Pocket PC, but that it's extremely limited in compatibility, and didn't work on a large number of Pocket PCs and was never patched to work on more units AFAIK. Just the knowledge that it worked on your iPaq RX1945 adds a significant percentage to the known units that this will work on. It must've been pretty interesting getting that working on an emulator.

I have this for PS2 and the visuals look great to me. Then again I play on Crts so it looks awesome and even better than the first game on some levels.

I don’t understand why the Xbox game has better reviews than this? I loved chaos bleeds on ps2 and the Xbox game has terrible settings. It’s all grey.

The first one on Xbox is so dull imo. The settings are horrible, just all stone and darkness.

@@mrpontyboi oh so I wasnt tripping. Just turn up the brightness in the menu but also make sure the black levels on your actual tv is correct.

@@mrpontyboi I do think Chaos Bleeds look better on an artistic level. I was playing the original one and the PS2 Choas Bleeds side by side on an backwards compatible PS3 upscaled to 1080i and on a PS2 on Wega Trinitona and it blew me away how well it held it's own against the first game graphically. Textures are much better.
