    You gotta try it flat because it was supposed to be the best of both worlds flat and anti rocker.

  • @kordel_alcorn_white
    @kordel_alcorn_white14 күн бұрын

    Yeah that was a marketing lie theres no point in trying to skate this frame flat not when so many other better frame options are out there. Could you yes but like i say it wouldn’t be worth it.

    @@kordel_alcorn_white got ya was suggesting it because it could be a piece of content,you know yay or nay on skating it flat aye lol 😆 i personally was looking for that content also and Ricardo is the only one who's gave it a whirl and he said it's ok.

    @@icemanbtlr25 i feel you and true and after watching Ricardo’s thoughts on it i honestly didn’t think id be able to add much. And ive tried other frames with similar h blocks like the creates flat and it was just such a miserable experience i didn’t even want to bother lol. Ricardo is also like freakishly talented and though he was able to make it work i honestly believe the average skater would have a bad time skating it flat especially newer people who didn’t grow up skating flat in the 90s. And i think roces should have never marketed it from flat.. imo its just a pretty good anti frame

    Naw this groove is so much like create or fluid 4s thats skating flat would be a waste of time imho. Its a pretty antirocker specific design. The only Flat frames id even look at are oysi, gc flt4, kizer fluid5, tnec and iqons new one. And maybe if i was desperate a kaltic frame. Also if you want to skate flat aeons are a good option but that skate slide’s horribly

    Thanks for doing a mod vid. I completely agree with supporting new skater owned company’s and that’s why I got mine. I have the 6th toe pressure and the ankle pressure point. (Also wide feet) I’ve been time poor and only tried heat molding as per website and didn’t have great results. Swapped liners also. But haven’t started cutting or shaping the skate yet. Anyway I have time to try and fix the issues now, my plan was to be more aggressive with the heat and try and get the inner cuff more circular, and I definitely need to push the toe box out. I do wonder if an intuition insole (4mm one)would raise my foot up past the boot curve and get it to the wider part of the skate. My current/previous skate is a sway and i have plenty of room in that. Any way you’ve given me hope Cheers

    That is so awesome! I might try it. I learned on K2 fatties back in the day with royales 90 degrees to the grind surface. I've been trying to learn the angled 45-55 degree mj12 royales due to the offset backslide plate and H block but sometimes I screw it up. Also I find it harder to stay on top of on ledges (maybe it is mental). I slapped my face on the ledge today when my front foot slipped off hahaha.

    The TNEC 58 is going to be my next skate...I fucking love the idea...Soulframe made super cheap with the bare bones... Reminds me of the 90s super awesome. Also I can't buy products from a guy that skates with a helmet and a suit of plastic armor. The logic is simple. I would rather watch someone do a royal on a knee high rail without protection then watch someone do a backflip dressed like a plastic blimp. Protection is for pussies...And FYI - Learning tricks in a rubber pit or tricks on a rubber ramp is for pussies
